Listen to any has been hair metal band still trying to fill arenas today-- e.g. Motley Crue. Vince can't sing half those notes anymore. I'm not a Kelly Clarkson fan, but she is a really sweet approachable celebrity, and I swear, she nailed every wicked, stick-in-yer-brain note when I heard her sing it.

This song infects my brain like cancer. I had to endure a week on top of a truss while Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire worked out their show together before they hit the road, and the other spot ops and I dubbed this song, "Sensible Bong" because, you know, some bongs are simply not practical.

it was a very different version, I personally disliked it but you all may like this style. It's as if on the chorus her voice was too low too reach the high notes of this song and her voice I think is too deep for this type of song. I think in kelly's version, her strong high voice is what gave the song it's character. But like I said, that's my opinion.

kelly's voice is FLAT in Since You've Been Gone.. Flat and pitchy at other points. Don't get me wrong, I like Kelly Clarkson, but she doesn't sing that song well at all.

And on another note, Kelly is more a rock vibe to it and hers is more acoustic vibe, its just preference. Personally I love both Kelly and Jenny and think they both did a good job, but I prefer Kelly a little bit more. This song is a blast at kelly concerts with everyone singing and jumping up a down, its always the best ender.
