I did a search for my husband and these videos came up. He wanted to know if Erwin Lutzer teaches/believes the (pre or mid) tribulation "rapture". I first started (accidentally) listening to video #2 of three and sadly, got my answer. But because we love Erwin so much, I thought he deserved my time to listen to all 3. I don't know why I'm doing this to myself as I am completely against everyone that teaches God's children "to fly away". It may not come up until video #2 by Erwin, but it will. :(

Sadly, many pastors have twisted the Word and are teaching that Christ is secretly coming to take His church (and leave unbelievers) to endure the tribulation. Revelation 12 clearly shows who the antichrist is (Satan) and that he is coming to deceive. The word "anti"(christ) means INSTEAD of, not against like most people think. Rapture believes will be fooled as they're looking for the true Christ :(

@leadee2007 You're right...the word rapture is not even in the word of God as it's a man made doctrine. There's a second advent (second coming of Christ) but that clearly comes at the 7th trump. The false or fake or antichrist (the one spoke of in Matt 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21) is coming before our Lord Jesus. And yes, he is coming to deceive the wold into thinking he IS the Messiah. Interesting. I have been pressed in the Spirit that the meaning of the passage this teacher refers to at 6:30 is that many will come saying that JESUS is the Messiah, and will teach error. NOT that many will say that THEY are Christ. I think this is true already today. More and more this is true today. Many say Jesus is the Christ, but they don`t teach his words! So brothers, teach the words of Jesus. Teach the words of his disciples. Teach the Prophets. Teach the Writings. Teach God`s Law!
@iHymn I completely agree with you. It says that many will come in my name...not ONLY saying "I am the Christ" (as we have seen that) but there will be the real evil ones that say "In the NAME of Jesus, I....." when Christ never sent them nor do they have any part of IN Him.

The term "antichrist" appears 5 times in 1 John and 2 John of the New Testament — once in plural form and four times in the singular.
