I love this song! I did a version of it at my brother Fred's wedding to Julie; with some of Fred's old bandmates. I simply transposed the two names in this song.

"And Freddy is my main man/You can put your mind at ease/

He's guaranteed to please/Back by popular demand."

Both Freddy & Warren died too young & both were brilliant musicians & both knew their fates & both lived their lives to the fullest right up to their last moments. Coincidentally, they died just 3 1/2 months apart in 2003.

Great video -- thanks so much for sharing! I remember watching this live -- this is the "Fridays" TV Show, and this aired on May 9, 1980. Notice how he messes up the lyrics -- forgets the "he's the keeper of the keys" line! But he moves right on with it. Warren is so great.
