it is both analog and digital. NTSC and ATSC. it support SD and flash up to 4GB,

and yes you can play PS3, Xbox or DVD player via RCA connection. you might need special cable connector.

a I have a few consernce before I buy this product

1) can I watch tv everywhere without wifi.if so does it cost money to watch it anywhere or is it free?

2) can I watch shows as in Disney,Nick,MTV,VH1. and if so how do I subscribe to them?

I don't have one but I'm sure it's the same as every TV. It says that it picks up regular TV signals. it uses a regular old antennae. it's free just like a regular TV without cable. You use an antennae! You can watch subscription channels (Disney, Nick, MTV etc.) if you pay for them then you get them. You have to connect it to an outlet though. You can take it with you. You just get Comcast or Dish or whatever you want. It's just like a normal TV! No special network or anything like that!

Is IVIEW going to release a firmware update for 780PTV? I own one of these and the response time when pressing keys either on the remote or the front panel is HORRIBLE! Also, the unit misses keypresses, buttons need to be pushed multiple times before it works!

Other things to fix:

- Add a "Never" option for OSD timeout so that the signal strength meter can be always displayed when aiming antenna

- Fix bug where channels become unordered!

- Display signal strength %

- Improve battery life!

Can you hook a game console up too it? Most portable DVD players can through an av out setting and a special adapter for composite, why not this this?

How do you do the initial setup? After scanning, I get a "No Database" in a blue box. Am I doing something wrong?

It does not play MP4 file. It play divx, xvid in avi format.

I tried playing MP4 files but they would not play.... it did play some divx .avi files .... Is there a specific mp4 it needs?
