this program is a joke, rife with “feel-good”, costly, unrealistic aspirations, that will go nowhere with millions of dollars of tax/ratepayer money. As a non-minority contractor, you’re shooting yourself in the foot getting involved with this. they want low cost, low skilled labor installers working for overpriced, “cream -skimming” “hope performance testers.
The Energy Trust of Oregon is an oxymoron. they funnel more money out our state than people realize, or they’d be angry, CSG, BPI as well, are back-east revenue monsters, leading small oregon contractors to slaughter. Press should get ahold of that concept, and shed light for the citizens of oregon.
The jobs that could be created nationally to retrofit our country to go green... would be a huge and lengthy process... which would be good, and it set us up for the future and the unknown population load.
