this was my favorite game to play growing up, and its still one of my favorites today, this was my first RPG, and I loved every minute I spent playing it. idk how many times I played it, I lost count. I guess alot of people didn't have this game growing up, your like the 3rd or 4th person who siad they didn't have this game for the SNES, I feel lucky right now that I have it myself.

I've been seeing so much for this game and I REALLY am thinking of getting it on the Virtual Console.

Btw, I do have to say - get Paper Mario: TTYD, it is totally worth it <3 I loved the game so much and have completed it 3 times.

I can tell you how Super Paper Mario is later, Im getting it for Xmas and have been DYING to play it just as much as mario rpg.

No way, I like the N64 paper mario the best. It might just be the nostalgia talking, but I think it has a better storyline than the thousand year door. The gameplay is just as good, too, if not better. You should at least try it out.

It's legal on the VC as long as you pay the Wii points necessary. I would never recomend downloading something ilegally.

I would be a cool idea to review the paper mario series! You could by the original off of VC for a 1000 points and buy a used copy of the thousand year door for about $19.00 and get the new one for about $45.00. I would rate the first one a 4/5 TTYD a 5/5 and the 3rd one a 3/5. I hope you can consider my idea!

i agree with you in the part of the leveling up system but the axem rangers aren't that hard i beat them just using mario I know it is cheap when the yellow one does a body slam, the pink one heals(gotta beat that one first) the green one throws magic and that beam from the megazord(damn it is powerful) but they were not a problem

The axem rangers weren't that hard it was just the surprise of the cannon that can almost wipe out your whole team. I later learned how to block it but it was a pain the first time.

I'll post this bit of Nintendo trivia just so nobody tries to correct you on the Peach thing.

Starting with the second Super Mario Bros the princess from Donkey Kong had been named Princess Toadstool due to her being the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, mushroom, toadstool, get it?

It wasn't until Super Mario 64 that she became known as Peach, the name was first used in the letter to Mario at the start.

who's birthday? the invisible walls bugged me but the level was short enough so I didn't mind it, but I'm used to RPG's where you fight a tough boss and then you level up automatically from the fight, against the axem rangers I only got about half of what they should have given for a challengeing fight (at first).
