ok i need a copy of hello hooray..like this clip but please no fonts across the screen and let the most awesome song ever finish for g-ds sake LOL send me a copy please
Read in NME or Record Mirror around sping '73, an interview with the Coop. He said the lyrics were by a guy who was a paraplegic. With that in mind, they take on a whole different meaning when you consider the writer was probably wheelchair bound, or worse. You can hear "where he's coming from" inside. I fell in love with this song and have always considered it one of Alice's most underated. Headphones were made for THIS one.
This was the video sent to TOTP in 73. I think it was Blackburn or Saville who introduced it that night. Whichever it was, they simply said "I recieved a film cannister today, on it, it simply said 'Alice Cooper' ", then they went straight into what you see here. It was a Thursday night, I was at my then girlfriends house with her family. One week later, we were in Italy, during which I was eighteen, so the broadcast date must have been around 14th April. Can't remember what I did yesterday!!!!
the video is incomplete, damn it!!! i can't find the complete versiona anywhere, i saw it years ago, it includes the "i feel so strong" part, some mebers of the audience join him onstage
~❤~Hello! Hoorey! Bravo! i've been loving it...every second, every moment, every scream!!! i will treasure it forever...the good old stick~❤~Keep on rocking, Alice☆ Thanxoxoxo so much for posting & sharing this amazing clip*^o^* Happy New Year*^o^*~❤~
THANKS. i neede this4my YTplayist( ALice just passed thru Lousiana, ihav not upt all my vids yet, o, i did see alice in the early years too) I was afraid the "songwriter "would not allow" copy right thing(was not alice. sry, didnt mean2hurt u) was thinkin mayb i might make a slide show w/my pics& digital tracks. this song pumps me up so much. i can feel his emotions, the lyrics have so much meaning. i have a playlist complied, audio,at home, not here. all live 1973. very very good
my audio files at home, here where i am sitting with my pc, IS AWESOME!!! LIVE 1973. i also have every song from every album on file. all of them!!! 37+ albums. (not bragging. I am just such a huge fan, like ALL OF HERE) I am also, 4theAnimals
I sat 3rd row dead center for the Billion Dollar Babies show at Memorial Auditorium ,Dallas April 72 or 73 -I can Tell you it was one of THE Best Rock Concerts I have Ever seen, and I've seen all the biggest ,and Best shows. Alice Rocks! The Band was Superb, The Costumes ,Light Show and special effects were RIGHT ON THE MONEY!
i know!!! i did some research re: copy right thing and saw that!!! i thought it may be an issue here at YT since alice is not songwriter, but he has ownership also as performer, so its cool and alice loves vids!! he passed thru louisiana at casino, my vids are awful, they chased me bc i had make up, a collar, wth wrong wit them STOOPID. i have more to upload.
this must be good,i brought years ago when it first came out and still love it to this day...and im a soul fanatic...this guy certainly knows how to get your attention, think hes the only "rock" artist id pay to see..shame the last part isnt on here but great for posting fritz, thanks
man i love youtube i saw alice cooper in cincinnati now that i am 52 years old i still enjoy listing to rock i have a twenty five year old brain and a 52 year old body OUCH
Oh Yes, some great songs from 72/73..my elder cousin got me into people like "Vince" when he played me "Schools Out", then some Slade and T-Rex.Then 15 years later I was in Australia..all you heard in the pubs was "Poison" !!
I'd guess the guy walking accross at 1:45 was a backstage partier who just decided to be obnoxious. Having been at a few of these 70's concerts you could just stand off stage and watch the show if you had a backstage pass. I never took a walk across stage like this guy though! Looked like Alice kicked at him as he passed by...pretty funny!
I believe this is just show rehearsals (or just a simple video shoot.) Not the actual show. In fact anyone who walked up on the stage would probably had been tackled (as you can see in a couple of the other AC vids)
Where, oh where, is the Judy Collins version?
