  • What does WROL stand for??

  • I like you video its nice to see a person with some common sense. If WROL/ SHTF ever happens self reliance is going to be important, but in my experiances with several small communitys when disaster occurs it becomes a uniting force were everyone pitches in. Everyone loading up a back pack and heading for the hills alone with the idea that there going to survive of of fish and game realy isnt feasible. farmers and farms have always been the back bone of every country. in short no farms no food

  • how does an emp take out the computer in a vehicle

  • Nice rant....even the part where you waved guns in my face! 🔫

  • im assuming you were bored after surfing utube all day......just curious

  • I had a police officer tell me it was my responsibility to protect myself and my family. He can't do anything untill a law is broken. They no longer serve and protect. They only do service as law enforcment.

  • Yep- here in the great state of mASSachusetts Granny be a'going to jail!

  • This is why the early model dodge with the cummins engine would be nice. No electronics on the engine.

  • My motto is.. You must protect yourself because 911 is for the folks that find your body.

  • When I was 18 I thought the city was awesome, far better than the country... Now I'm 24 and I realize how WRONG I was. I've had that oh $&*! moment and now I'm looking to buy land. I did manage to get myself armed. I also bought a giant hiking backpack so I can get the hell out of dodge. (Hopefully). There aint no way I'm staying in the city in the case of WROL..I guess my mom was right, again, I'm a country boy and the city kills my inner child.

  • Here in the desert a more pressing issue will be getting the pumps running to bring water up to the surface - I've looked into having my own well sunk but the water table is down a minimum of 80ft and most places want 5K to 8k to do it - The fighting here will be over water before food - I imagine the same for Nevada and even southern California

  • As i understand according to "SorbentSystems" a 5 mil or thicker Mylar bag can protect your electronics from EMP.

  • DOOMED !!! An EMP will shut down the electricity that is needed to cool down the "spent" nuclear rods at the nuclear reactors around the world. Without the influx of cooling water to keep these spent rods cooled down they will all melt down and create a radioactive cloud that will turn the entire planet into a Chernobyl or into a Fukashima. Nobody will survive an EMP if all the nuclear spent rods around the world melt down. Nobody, not even advanced preppers like dsarti1 and southernprepper1

  • @johnny102marvin do you know how a nuk plant works?? from your comment I do not think so nuk plants are one of the few places so shielded the emp would have no effect

  • @dsarti1 the thing is you are half right, inside the containment building things are good to go in an EMP attack, however the equipment outside the shielding do not have that benefit, therefor depending on the magnitude of the attack will determine the magnitude of the outcome. the very least radiation will be released in the environment.

  • @dsarti1 I have talked to a number of nuclear engineers who know how nuclear power plants operate. They depend on outside electricity. They depend upon the electrical power grid. That was the main problem with the Fukushima nuclear power plant, it was connected to the electrical power grid. The water destroyed the back up batteries, and the it destroyed the back up diesel generators. Without incoming electricity from the power grid, the "spent fuel rods" heated up and blew up.

  • @johnny102marvin That would never happen, they all have backup generators and we all know those always start. LOL note sarcasm! Why do they build nuclear power plants in flood planes anyway, like Fukushima!

  • Keep raddlin' brother.

I luv it when you point your guns at the camera. lol

  • A few weeks ago, I believe in Redding Ca,an elderly lady shot a guy and killed his ass trying to break into her house. I don't think she had ever fired a gun and had just got the thing.

  • please everyone read this E.M.P. from the motherin' sun tore the digital down dawn of the age of the innocent ones the indigo children come analog time piece sky wide sync to the ticker inside move to the rhythm of the moon and tide the indigo children Sirius, Venus. and the lunar child (get your life up untied) giggle and the flames grow higher dance in a circle around a central fire (dance and laugh and love and learn. Grow higher) wine, song, food and fire clothe, shelter and seed
  • i don't want to be a troll but dang it is hard not to after watching this there is to much wrong with your thinking

  • Dave,

With EMP I was wondering if newer flash lights will work. I just bought a new Maglite and it has the new 4 way switch on it. Do you think EMP can fry the electronics in them?

  • i can cook great a work on a farm its just a stereo type everyone at my school can cook and hunts alot of the farmers dont even bother to buy newer tractors we have a mccormick deering w-4 and a 580 case

  • sorry to say but most parents neglect their duties of teaching their children the practical things in life.. children would be mortified having to use an outhouse .most children could not survive without tv, video games or texting.they can not make decisions without peer approval and without fashion or tv dictating to them..........rant away dave....

  • Happy New Year bro! You are a nut. 73

  • @theothertoolbox I agree he is a nut but he is entertaining. Happy New Year dsarti1!!!

  • @dburris47130 yup!

  • Spot on video again, D. Now I have my ole lady watching them with me!

  • Does anyone have ideas on NON-LETHAL home defense?? Not all of us have guns or access to guns, be it laws or just lack of funds, or wives that wont let us have them. I like guns, but don't like idea of killing people. Being a metal fabricator/welder I can probably develop some sick devices that make guns jealous, but we just want the bad people to go away right? I am also a diesel mechanic!

  • @NeeShallPass The advantages or useing a sword include: A jury is less likely to penalize you for killing a home invader. Its far more easy to stab to the chest than hit with a bat. But if you are in poor physical shape you are better off with a gun, taser, or mace. Of

course you know that leaf springs make great swords. Swords can be non lethal because

    they are scary.

  • @semperfi1000 yes, swords are scary, but everyone runs from a skunk!

  • I have a sail boat and fishing equipment. Will the wind still blow after WROLSHTFEMPTEOTWAWKIFEMAGEDDON?

  • You can take anything from me except my electronics. Do that and there's trouble on the horizon ; ) c

  • 1:41 TRUE STORY! So Sorry Granny!

  • before you get the trucks to run, feet and bicycles will be the main mode of transportation, few people in the country even own horses.

  • NDAA BILL WAS SIGNED YESTERDAY

  • good vid. happy new year.

  • Our laws are designed to benefit the lawless and subdue the lawful. If crime doesn't pay, why is it rampant among the well off "authorities" and "officials?"

  • JUST as I was thinking that "yeah thats Tennessee" He says that thing about the northern states.LMFAO!!! Spent a summer in Dyersburg many years ago, things are WAY more laid back there than Michigan.

  • Granny would do better to have a Taurus 454 Raging Bull

  • Another great video Dave keep them coming.

  • LMAO It is true there was a case where a citizen called the police and was accosted a few minutes after the police were slow to respond and the citizen sued for the police failing to protect them. I think this went to the supreme court cant remember maybe it was just the state supreme court. The verdict was the police were blameless as it is the citizens duty to protect themselfs. Great video love the Grandma skit!

  • LOL good points

  • excellent video,

  • i am a teenager and i know how to cook but i see where you are coming from most teens cannot cook for themselves

  • in a WROL what weight silver should have. I have 10 once and a 5 ounce. Just started collecting silver.

  • liked your old lady inpersonation!!! it was great!!!

  • My goal for this year is to try and start a garden and buy some mateable pairs of rabbits for meat and learn how to skin em.

  • @LtSgt5 "mateable pair of rabbits" ... Bugs Bunny and Jessica Rabbit? (lol)

Peace & Happy New Year, LtSgt.

  • @grizzzlyjoe LMAO Happy New Years to you too man! I wouldn't give bugs jessica rebbit, she'd be better off servicing me :P

  • LOL you just love pointing those guns at us huh? Sorry, but it doesn't bother me.

You did give me a good idea though. I can pass for an old lady in a wheelchair with a gun! That's a good one. I am old, and I do have my husbands wheelchair, and I do have a gun, so I guess I'm set. Maybe I need a few extra guns for the gangs, but hey, I can get my brothers for them. They love guns. Now if I could only get them to believe things are getting bad!!! it would help. Maybe "borrow" theirs? Yep!

  • Your such a comedian!! But only so true!! Always an eyeopener watching your videos! Have a great New Year. and keep bringing us your wisdom!

  • ....if an emp happens, it will be hell....the dead & dying would mount up quickly, the intent on mayhem and those drawn in need or threat who indeed do harm would go for easy meat first and for the most part would wane from attrition the further they tried pushing out from the cities....

....dunno, from the laws they have passed, seems they might be preparing to lock things down should we be attcked....well that and that nasty economic collapse that is happening now

    but you know that too

  • Happy New Year, dsarti1!

  • I like your video's..........I think America would welcome a return to the Waltons......lol not.The young kids are addicted to Paris Hilton and American Idol.and Kim Kardashians butt.Love to see them churning butter and making food.

  • ....self defense is the most fundamental human right AND defense of another is one of the most fundamental duties....you are right the police (law enforcers) cannot protect anyone from specific criminal acts, they are ready willing and able but cannot be everywhere at once....unfortunately what to many of them forget or some haven't learned, is the fact that it is people of good conscience & courage to help who are indeed their ultimate backup & supporters....they are Brothers & Sisters too!!

  • Wood gasifiers can run internal combustion engines. Mine will run a 20 Hp generator for about

3 1/2 hours with each fuel up. Sweden still has plans to switch to the same technology if there is a fuel shortage there.

  • Im getting a ham radio and a license.

  • In the Unitied States, our law enforcement is set up to react to violations of law (reactive). Things get scary when you ask government to be proactive concerning what someone "may" do in violation of law .

  • The threat of going doing some time in jail keeps a lot of people from being stupid. It does for me anyway.

  • LOL your a hoot you so make me laugh..I have to agree with most of the things you said.

  • always interesting Dave. great vid.

  • They committed suicide and they can't get up. Oh mercy.

  • I can't wait to see the video when he shoots himself by accident.

  • push start your truck and other equipment that can be manually turn started.

  • Great video! Keep them coming! Happy New Year!!

  • Sorry to say,all the fuel at the refineries, in the case of an real world disaster, no matter what the scenario, would be confiscated by our beloved government.Along with the food and what ever they deem as a necessary asset to maintain "control". To supply the military so they will be full operational to enforce Martial Law on American Citizens.

  • @kaycig a diesel can run off of cooking oil and grease fat collected from cooking.

  • @KresTKroVee This is very true..I know there is some refining, but they will run. With such a high compression engine almost anything petroleum or oil based will ignite under those pressures. From my point of view, making or getting enough "fuel" to make pick ups and deliveries of basic commodities, would be an issue to work on in its self. I live in rule KY. The nearest McDonald's or such is miles away, to drain their grease dumps for making fue.I guess Id have to ride one of my cows

  • @kaycig Well, if you got plenty of cows then why leave? I would be worried if I left, I would come home and all my cows world be gone! If it gets bad enough to refine oils for transportation then my first idea would be to protect all my groceries from sheeple zombies. Thats real good you have cows. Protect them.

  • Happy New Years dsarti!!

What about converting trucks to running on wood like in the 1st world war?

  • The dog laughed at your Granny imitation!!!

  • Great thoughts on WROL! Can you imagine the city people and office workers eating fat back bacon and country food!!!!!

  • Simply love it...

  • There are rich black neighborhoods too. Well is upon us already . Just watch the local news. Happy new year anyway!

  • Have a great New Years!! Thanks for all your videos.

  • Happy New Years To you dsarti1~ =)

  • Two, at least TWO Supreme Court decisions ruled that law enforcement officers have NO DUTY to protect you. "Dial 911 and Die" is an excellent documentation of this..

  • I am just 16 and I live in The Netherlands. Coking isn't a problem for me the thing i am consumed abound is the fact we are not aloud to have guns in this country. Only abound 0.5% has a gun an that are almost always hunting rifles. EDC knives, multitools, or even Swiss army knives are illegal. Most of the people my ages don't know what 9/11 was or where owner own military is on this moment. so yes you could say that teenagers are going to die first.

  • @JJBest101 I'm sorry for you.. we, in the US should thank God for our freedoms and some of us are fighting to keep them!! My whole family are Black belts.. do you have martial arts there? Would help!

  • @randude1 thanks for the tip but using it gets u kicked out of the gym you are training and land you in jail if you cause harm to other people even when you defend yourself

  • @JJBest101 So, if someone attacks you, you have to just stand there and let them beat you up? No wonder people want into the US, as bad as I think it is becoming, it is worse in other places.

  • @randude1 basically yes of course you can thou a punch but if you harm him to the point he needs to go to the hospital you'r facked using a weapon in any form is illegal even a baseball bat or hockey stick gets you in trouble. about a year ago on the news was a story of a construction worker ho lifted a his leg up so that a shop lifter would fall the shop lifter fell en broke hid nose so the construction worker wend to jail for assault. that's why i wanna become a us citizen.

  • @JJBest101 elitist freaks love kids because they are inexperienced, self involved, so easy to manipulate. They are never first target for death, but for tools.

I feel for you, wish I could do something. Government control always turns evil. It's always obtained by the worst people, who tend toward slavery & treatment of people as live stock. Of course they want people dummed down & feckless. Basic knife tools illegal? That is insane

This is what government "help" leads to, dirt road to serfdom

  • @tblbaby caring them is illegal owning knives and multitools isn't. My girlfriend has the classic Swiss army knife on her key chain, she lost her keys at school the where found so she could retread them we she picked them up the told her she needed to the it of because it is no aloud in school to have a 'knives' (i col a Swiss army knife not a knife it is a tool).

  • rock-on friend happy new year

  • How many teenagers cook for themselves? Dave Dave Dave you poor dumb bachelor. As a parent of a 21yr old boy the first 18yr my parental God given duty. The last 3 years has been an economic one in the fact that I can't afford the Geek Squad to fix my computer, Painter to paint my house, so in exchange I have a live in techie which also is my son so a mac n cheese dinner or a bowl of ramen noodles is way cheaper. Besides he won't listen to me anyhow so does he really need to know how to cook? Not

  • im 15 and i can cook better than some of my family...im about 1 in a million teenager who has his eyes open...i see it 5 days a week...i see people who will mostlikely end up dead or in jail...and i allso there are people in my school didnt even know wat 9/11 was

  • I totally Agree my Hero !

  • I have a question, in the event of an EMP, we all know our modern fuel injected computer managed automobiles will shut down. It seems to me it would be smart to purchase a 'spare" ECU and place it in an EMP proof safe until needed after an EMP. You would be one of the few people to have a working vehicle after an EMP, along with those still driving old cars with point type ignition system. Of course, I already have plenty of STABIL treated gasoline cached right now, enough to travel 1500 miles.

  • @GTVAlfaMan A while back on ( discovery chan i think 0 they did a emp test on a car they had to replace the hood with a fiber glass one to get the emp to work. Modern cars tend to be damped for radio waves and interference. From the test most of the time it just killed the engine and the driver simply had to restart it . That being said I see no reason to not have a protected back up just in case.

  • @john762x39 Yes, every movie and tv show I've seen about nuclear attacks show all cars shutting down instantly after an EMP. I think placing a spare engine control unit (ECU) in a tested farraday cage device in your trunk will give you that extra advantage after an EMP and you will be able to make it home and bug out later with the family if need be. You could also include items such as walkie talkies, cell phone, your Tazer or Stun gun or any other small electronic device you need after EMP.

  • @GTVAlfaMan I would agree with that but I have a Ham radio VX-7r in the truck and a 10 dollar track phone. might not work if the towers go down but hey it was only 10 bucks. Look at my youtube page later to day Im puting up a video on emp prof networks

  • Well another great video Dave happy ne!w year man keep on prepping

  • I know there's an inside joke somewhere like, "He must just like to hold it like a titty." But it sure would be nice to discharge a clip in an open field at midnight, woo!

  • Dave if their is a EMP what about the nuclear power plants? Cooling pumps?

  • I love you D, you are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • painting on fireplace of fishing boats Wherewas that painted?

  • and as well emps dont last forever what happens when it is over everything will be able to go back on line that doesnt require satellites telling them what to do unless we can get the satelllietes running again, but i geuss the panic everybosdy has might cause some problems, but again how do u expect there to be a worldwide or nationwide emp thats shuts down everything and all the backup systems fail and everything falls apart, honestly u arent an expert on this stop telling people what to do

  • im just wondering under what scenario do we get emped, because ur telling everybody to get ready and stock up but ur not actually telling them how they r gonna get emped, wouldnt it be better to prevent ur emp rather then try to survive it, and also we need to get the nuclear systems back online so we dont have 103 nuclear plant failures at once, it wouldnt matter if, we got the trucks runnign we wouldnt have any think to carry in the trucks

  • do u think poor white people will attack rich black people ?

  • "I AM THE LAW"...JudgeDredd..and some YTubers.

    Sending "video response".

  • EMP is definitely a threat to the 103 nuclear power plants in the US. Once the grid goes down, most nuke plants have 4-8 hr of backup battery power to initiate a controlled shutdown. Once those batteries are depleted, the pumps that deliver cooling water to the core, stop working. If the power grid is down for weeks/months, we could see 103 Fukushima's...right here in the United States. Are you prepared for that? Radiation detection gear, potassium iodide...I'd get some, and learn how to use it.

  • dave for president.

  • Wait a min .. this sounds a bit like socialism Dave.

  • another winner!

  • OMG!!! YOU ARE SOOOO FUNNY!!!!

  • Your right Dave many parents are to busy to raise their own children. And I'll tell you right now, most people today are WEAK and totally clueless as to how to take care of themselves!!!

  • You seen what happened in New Orleans after Catrina ....

Within five days , the people were starting to eat each other ....

    That's whats gonna happen ...

  • Apparently you have not watched the Back to Eden film. (At backtoedenfilm(dot)com.) No, the little guy should not be helping the big farmer, unless he already has his own Back to Eden garden put in. NO need to till the little family garden. Watch the film. (When you go to the website, scroll down and click the play button. It's free.) Thanks, Dave.

  • @katzcradul I agree ! Everyone should watch that film.

  • When is your Net Geo thing come out???? Doomsday Preppers???

  • I was just committing on some videos about personal responsibility. And how its my responsibility to protect my family.
