How does ur derailleur go out that far? Mine doesnt even go that far. Also why doesnt my derailleur move when i tighten/ loosen the b tension screw? Please help
I have a sram X.0 10 speed derailleur on my Cannondale and the gap is more than 6mm but doesen't cause any problems for me. As long as the pulley wheel doesen't touch the teeth of the sprocket your'e fine. Is the pulley wheel touching the big sprocket or small sprocket. Also it looks like the derailleur body is stretched all the way out and that is not normal.

Tried with my chain off. No difference.
I think on my Boardman bike that the hanger isn't the ideal design as the derailleur could be in a better location. Not much I can do about it.

I've noticed that I can't obtain the correct gap with my SRAM derailleur too, and then discovered that it is supposed to be set with the chain off.
