Go look at "Bikini Beach", which was made in 1964, same bunch. Donna Loren, Candy Johnson, Jody McRea, and of course Frankie and Annette. Not only was one of the band members of "The Pyramids" black, this was one of the first appearances of "Little Stevie Wonder" who sings everyone out of the movie. This is one of the best of the whole series. Race had no part in any of it. It was a fun movie.

The only versions of these songs that were ever released were the covers Annette did on her 1964 "Pajama Party" vinyl LP. None of them are on Itunes, primarily because Disney does a lousy job managing its vintage Buena Vista catalog. Donna's version here was never released on vinyl or any other format.

The girl in the orange bikini with yellow fringe, who sets those marshmallows on fire, thats Susan Hart. In August 1964 she married Jim Nicholson who was half owner of American International Pictures (Sam Arkoff owned the other half). AIP is the company that produced and distributed Pajama Party, among the other Annette Funicello Beach Party movies.
