  • I wonder why you weren't allowed inside the market place. Maybe it was just a propaganda facade with nothing inside. Or maybe it was an intercity concentration camp in disguise. Being North Korea, you can't rule it out. Lol!

  • @Itsame93 It's really a market. I've seen the inside of it in several other videos. They don't want to show it, because it's capitalist and they are ashamed of it.

  • What is the point of those massive hotels? North Korea takes very few international visitors a year and it is doubtful many domestic visitors use them due to the travel restrictions.

  • @cube11235 Maybe its used to house its massive population

  • Everything looks so organized and clean, unlike most Latin American cities that are "blessed" with capitalism.

  • @Vivamigeneral in your "nasty" place you allowed to write this down

  • Jak się tam dostaliście?

  • no free market business any where in this video, almost no business at all, where are all the people for a city this size give me china anyday,

  • @knightspy worlds largest ghost town!

  • I take it that there's no supermarkets in North Korea.

  • I am no fan of North Korea or the command economy that has failed them but at least they live better than other third world nations, they have poverty but without many of the social issues that have arisen in poor market economies. I would hate to see a repeat of what happened in the USSR here and I hope the day when there is reunification and the communist regime falls that it will be done smoothly and not attempting shock therapy free market economics.

  • Do you really think that tall building was simply a big hotel? Look carefully at the very top of it. If you look really good, you will see a military bunker with an observation tower.

  • That building is the ryugyong hotel and the 'bunker' you speak of is a crane used in the buildings construction.

  • thx for the translation dude
