  • 1:05 ... press what? >_<

  • @TheBackLucky "E" to Extrude :)

  • @Dooblestudios This character is just one object right?

  • @masterapmark Yes it is :) Thanks for watching, I hope to release more recent tutorials though considering blender has changed considerably but I have been so busy :/

  • @Dooblestudios One more thing, I'm using Blender 2.6, @1:43 The CTRL + P thing, it doesn't seem to be working...

  • in weight paint i can't select one bone. instead it selects the whole skeleton.

  • @TheDragonmi Okay make sure you go into pose mode before hand otherwise it will not select each single bone. Hopefully that works for you :)

  • great stuff!

  • ok so after i do the ctrl+P thing... and do the 'armature', 'dont group'/'from bone heat' (ive tried both) my bones somehow become the only thing i can move... and it doesnt let me do the weight painting :(

anyone know wat up with this?

  • at 1:40 yuo say to select the body then the bones so i selected the body but when i select the bones it unselects the body.im useing right click to select the body and bones is that what i should be doing?.plz help

  • nevermind, ive got it, insted of create no groups i created from bone heat

  • need help when i go to pose mode the bones are the only thing moving, how do i fix this? i selected to object (body) first, then the bones and hit Ctrl + P and selected armature, and then selected don't create groups. I went into pose mode and only his bones moved. So if anyone can help me out, please reply.

  • At 1:40 I don't understand...

    CTRL-?

  • @StelarCF Control + P :) thanks for watching

  • Hey! Nice tutorials. But i have one problem :(

I did exactly as you sed (I think anyways) but when i take the weight paint and trying to paint the head it says:

"ERROR: Operation only avible for multires level 1."

    Please help :)

  • cook vid i subbed!

  • @evanderep Thanks! Glad i could help :)

  • Your tutorial is REALLY helpful ,but when I render my animation, a blaack screen shows up and I dont know what to do, could you help?

  • @hejfo69 Hmm, Make sure there is a light in the scene. That's about all I can think of at the moment but if I think of anything else I will let you know!

  • @Dooblestudios Thank you very much, I'll try it! :]

  • no

    no Im not

    wy?

  • @TheDenzelman Try doing that and see if it works

  • I press the guy and then the bone and wen I press ctrl P noting happens it doesn't

give me any options help me pleas!

  • @TheDenzelman Hmmm, Are you holding down shift when you select both?

  • Thank you, this was one of the most use full tutorial i have seen so far.

  • @knight9710 When you press f12 it is rendering the current frame. To render your animation press control f12. But before it saves it to wherever you want it so save you have to go to the scene tab (f10) and on the left side set an output. The output needs to be written kind of like this. users/name/desktop/name of movie

It might be written a little different on a windows computer but thats the basic setup.

Anyway I hope this helps and thanks for watching my vid!

  • what is the over key???????

  • @gipro1 Left over Key :D

    Hope that helps!

  • @Dooblestudios left over as in lift arrow key??

  • @gipro1 Yeah, Sorry I wasn't so clear on that. :S

  • Thanks a lot. :)

  • do i have to render the animation then use a screen recorder to get the animation without the skeleton? or is there another way?

  • @xLuciferProductionsx No There is another way. If you set the output to your desktop it will put the movies there. Now if your using a windows I recommend that you save the file find the desktop and then copy and paste it to the output. By the way the render panel is F10 and the output is to the left at the top.. It might be easier for me to film it then post it. Oh and if you use a mac type is users/example/desktop/what ever you named your movie. Hope this helps or if it makes any sense

  • when you press control key whats over (to get to animation)

  • Oh okay, Just press control key left arrow.

  • how do you select your guy?????

  • That depends... Do you have a mouse with a left and a right clicker? or do you only have a mouse with one button? If you have a mouse with a left and right clicker right click on the guy and he will be selected. If its just a one button mouse, I would assume you have a mac because I don't think Microsoft makes that kind. So simply press command key (The one with the little apple image on it) and click on your character.. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

  • Also, I was wondering if you can do a tut. of one of those logo exploding stuff that you did.. It was really awsome! Sorry I had to ask u so many tutorials... but I just want to know how u do that logo exploding stuff. I also want to know if u can export Blender3D to After Effects...

  • Hmm, I don't use after affects but I could do a exploding tutorial :) Also its fine your asking so much, Its helps me to Create stuff that other people want to know.

  • Hey Dooblestudios, I was wondering if you can do another modeling tut, but a different guy... like a alien or a Kid or something.... If you can, thanks, if you can't do those kind of stuff yet, it's okay. Post the tut. as soon as you can... Thanks!!!

  • Yeah, I'll try. It might take a little bit of time to get that one down, But once I do I will let you know, Thanks for the suggestion :)

  • Wow Epic tutorial!!!

I've seen MANY armature tutorials, but none as straight forward and easy to understand as this one!

  • @THEAniKan

Ha ha thanks I will try to continue making tutorials like this. Thanks for the comment :D

  • "I will try to continue making tutorials like this."

Awesome! Super3boy's tutorials are awesome, but he treats watchers as beginners, going through stuff over again through all his videos. [e.g. keyframing]

  • Yeah I agree ha ha, Also he always says, "Hello Blender Friends." but its good that he tries at it.

  • haha Yeah!

But don't get me wrong; his tutorials are great. Just...... slow paced.

  • Thanks it helped me alot!

  • @planetooner

Im glad it did, Hopefully I will be making a lot more tutorials.

    Thanks for the comment :D
