uhhhh....It's called a turn based RPG, just like Final Fantasy...Most RPG's are turn based. Lost Odyssey is a very good game, so you might wanna actually play it before you bash it...oh..never mind.. You probably don't play RPG's because you don't know how to strategy games.

Wow, amazing gameplay (sarcastic). Why in the hell would you fight a dragon 500 yards away and take turns attacking each other? LOL. Its like: Hey I just hit you, now its your turn, just let me get back to my spot first... Ok... Now come get me!

There are good and bad 'turn-based RPGs' out there; just as there are good and bad fps etc..; as with any other type of video-game genres.

Now, from the 'turned-based' games I have played and experienced, I found 'Lost Odysseys' battle-system to be one of the most fun, addictive and well-balanced ones out there - and that, when I play a game, is of great importance to me.

I'm playing Lost Odyssey right now. I absolutely love this game!! One of the best stories I've experienced in a JRPG, and the character's emotions are so real.

I like what they did with the battles and the gameplay... it's not realistic, it's better. I love the return of the original turn based rpgs.

As for the exact release day; I know that the release date for NA is: Feb. 12, 2008.
