I miss Saskatchewan ( yeah right! ) I remember -60 there. It's like a deep-frozen Texas - No place for man or beast. I used to sell 'on the road' in this stuff in a rear wheel drive 280ZX . Usually it was too cold for snow so that wasn't the problem as much as getting stuck or broken down and freezing to death real fast if you weren't careful and lucky.

But i had the honour of experiencing frozen snot, and the biting dry cold. I may be back during this winter, So, perhaps i'll be lucky (or unlucky).

I do remember walking in this. Had to walk home in it with my brother or we'd have been stranded at school. :/ Parents didn't get home until 10 or so, at the very latest... I remember I couldn't hardly see across the street or even the convenience store.
When I watch these crazy winter storm videos in Saskatoon, it makes me think of Xmas lol, just because for the past few years.. We've had ALOT of snow in the winter, and I always have to shovel it and stuff

Well in all honesty we were unprepared for how bad it would be. We knew that it was coming, but we did not realize that it would last for 2 whole days. Exactly like you see it! Even the cities were at a stand still. Emergency responders were very limimted in what they could do. It was a wild one! lol I would have to say that we were caught off guard with this storm as you were with the 15 cm of snow you got. :) I did see it on the news and was glad to see people out enjoying it . :)
@monsnap1 not quite actually, the reason why you don't get snow and Saskathewan canada does is because saskatchewan is in the middle of the whole continent and englands on the coast, I live on the coast of canada and we get very similiar weather to engand.
