Okay so of course you are going to compare it New Moon, and that's alright, 'cause the scenes are very similar EXCEPT TVD have way better actors then Twilight. I mean all the emotions. The acting in twilight is so forced, and kinda robotic.

But still i will say the Twilight books are better then the TVD books. I also love the TDV show better then the books. Finally and definitely TVD is SOOOO much better then the Twilight films.

This was actually a book WAY before Twilight, so the show was probably really thought out and they had a longer time to do it. Twilight became a movie like really soon after coming out. I love both too, I just think TVD people had a longer time to really make the characters their own. :)

I like Elenas stength, she a lot stronger than Bella, but they really are two completley different characters surrounded by some of the same... predicaments. I love both the twilight saga and the VD series, because the main characters is sooo different. Bella wouldnt last a day in Elenas shoes. But they both make their own stories interesting, because of the way they are. I do agree this sceen reminded me of new moon, but its still very different.

Down to the trees this is New Moon. How did Stephanie Meyers get away with this? I've just lost all of my respect. She says she doesn't watch tv or read vampires books. . Garbage. What are the odds that she came up with such a similar story all by herself? Just wow. And why didn't this author sue her? Time upon time you can see the similarities. There just too many of them.

@xx99soccerz I agree, and I think Vampire Diaries is more logical. I mean, Elena is more normal than Bella is because Bella just stays with Edward not being frightened. Any person in their right mind would be frightened, at first, anyway. Plus they go by the good old fashioned meaning of vampire, that they have to be invited in and stuff like that XD, not that they sparkle in the sunlight like diamonds, that was just unreal.

I understand what you're saying, but Edward wasn't saving a friend's life better yet a witch nor did they break up because she didn't feel safe. Elena broke up with him bec he was a vampire. Bella never cared at all, so there's some definite differences here.

hahaha omg i was thinking the exact same thing.....its in the forest, elena doesnt want him to leave (who does?), she tells him to stay, he insists on leaving, he touches her face and then say 'goodbye' then......leaves her there! the series is based loosely on the books, apart from the names and parts of the characters background, there isnt much like the books, i guess they may have used new moons break-up scene to give it a certain effect cos the break-up scene in new moon came out months ago
