@Ch1n4tw Cosmo Canyon was epic for it's time. I know there are people who can't appreciate age especially because most find MIDI synths from 1997 to be grating on the ears. I find both enjoyable for what they are. I would rather simply listen instead of compare them. This song is so pretty and does indeed remind me of Nanaki's home.

This is by far my favourite zone in Northrend, and definitely one of my top favourites of all the zones in WoW. Add to that an amazing soundtrack, that fits fantastically well with the place, and makes it feel unique in so many ways.

The soundtrack also reminds me a little of Monkey Island.

lol i'm itching to play again now...after a year break maybe in the next patch when the raids become truly difficult (I believe there are only 1 or two bosses that are difficult at the moment).

Another big thing i did not like is how they removed premade BGs!

Anyhow if i do return i may just level another character just so i can level 70-80 in northrend again!

Remove DBM and don't read tactics up front and don't overgear for the instance.

It's easy because we got easy epics from emblems, we can read tactics from the internet or watch tutorials (à la Project Marmot) and we got DBM to warn us from stuff.

A good way to get busy in wow is to set a goal that is very hard, like getting x exalted statuses, doing ALL instances etc.. Earning 50k cash maybe. stuff like that, then some of the sucky content on lvl 80 will be more liveable :P

70-80 in wotlk reinvigorated WoW, easily one of the best RPG levelling i have ever done, probably better than 1-60. Too bad endgame sucked balls at 80 and i left.

If you don't like the music there's always a music option.

And about the new mount prizes and that kinda stuff, it's actually more about making it easier for new players. Blizzard relies more on new players than vanilla or TBC players, so there's actually nothing they would do to ruin the game on a bad way for themselves..
