as far as I know, he is from hamburg or from one of the cities in East germany... No wait, Wikipedia says he is born in "Brüggen - Kerpen", Thats in the State Nordrhein- Westfahlen, its about 50 kilometres from Hannover. Do you know Hannover? its also a beautiful german City.
