  • You appear to be a youngster... and that'd be some MIGHTY TASTY phrasing for a laddy! WAY COOL.

  • \m/ dude... you are a BEAST!!!! \m/

  • sick tone and phrasing

  • actuallly the vos models are worn, biut not like relic shit, the pup covers arent shiny, the finish is dulled down a bid but thats about it, the rest of the hardware looks aged also

  • now this is the reissue and NOT the VOS correct??

  • same thing.

  • it is absolutley not the same thing at all the finish is completley differant and one costs about $500 more (the NON-vos is worth more)

  • uh... sorry dude they are the same thing. have a look at the gibson website. the terms are used interchangeably.

  • completely wrong the reissue is not on there page at all only the vos is. its called vos for a reason..vintage original spec...means it looks worn and used...and VINTAGE! the reissue is a REISSUE it looks like a brand new guitar but is built with an old guitars sound and feel. so they are NOT the same thing in any way. and if they were the same why would i see the 2 differnat guitars sitting next to each other priced differantly and looking slightly differant? because they are not the same.

  • no! The VOS is basically a Fender Closet classic, the Murphy is the aged guitars! The VOS series has no wear on it. Gibson calls them VOS, but they also use the word "reissue" in the description, because they are reissues, but the official Gibson name is VOS.

  • well then i guess you'd better go tell guitar center that the 2 differant guitars sitting next to eachother priced differantly are actually the same. not just the online store but my local one. as well as the gibson guitar message boards and everywhere else i have looked but your opinion...cuz they all say I'm right.

  • hahaha... ok... whatever you say...

  • p.s. i shouldnt say "not the same thing in any way" cuz they are the same guitar they just look differnat..lol but still..not the same guitar.

  • whoua great sound!!!! it s burstbucker pick up?
