  • @jefmakeshift

    Hi there ,

What soundcard and OS are you using? Asio4all works ok with internal souncards . Have you tried that?

    Cheers

    Cheers,

    Jef.

  • Hey anyone i was just wondering is this program easy to use for beginers and is it worth buying it? Also has it got all types of music you can creat with it or just a few types? Any ansers would be helpfull, thank you!

  • @0Nero1

    Hi Nero ,

It's quite easy to use but like most music programs you need to dedicate some time learning it . It comes with a selection of drum and percussion loops of different styles to get you started but it would need you own creative input as well . Using Reason or Fruity Loops rewired is a good way to add new sounds and styles but Samplitude is less of an automatic music making program than others.

  • Great vid any way you know how to do this for Magix Music Maker curious?

  • @hank1972 Hi Hank,

Reason does work in Music Maker 16 I'm not sure about earlier versions . Activate Rewire by opening MM16 and pressing E and clicking on the Synchronization tab .Then tick the "Activate Rewire Host " checkbox . Reason should then appear in the plug-in list .I don't think you can use multiple outputs in MM16 though .

  • Great Tutorial. Will this work with Samplitude 14? I take it that you have to get the Reason program. I am really interested in using the Reason Refills.

    Thanks,

  • @bsdguy Yes you will need Reason for it to work .

    Regards

    Kraznet

  • @bsdguy I have both of them and did what the man said and it worked so far. hee hooo.

  • thanx, now i know what i did wrong. These were one of the best six minutes in this week ;-)

    Kraznet

    Kraznet

  • ooo never mind i got it!!!! thank you for the video by the way!

  • I can't rewire to reason! would it be beacuase i don't have ASIO FIREFACE?? in the asio device option I selected the MAGIX LOW LATENCY 2008 because i don't have anything else... can that be the probleeeeemeeee????? thanks!

  • Doesn't work in Windows 7! does anyone know when it will be compatible?

  • You mean Samplitude Music Studio? I installed it in on my Windows 7 rig the other day and it was working . I didn't try rewiring it with FLS though .

  • What do you mean when you say it isn't working in W7? If you mean the installation it should install no problem .If it isn't installing correctly right click on the installer and choose "Troubleshoot compatabilty ".The slecy Vist of XP mode .

  • ive installed it, but right at the end of the installation is was giving an error message saying something like "this version of Windows Media Technologies is incompatible or has been superseded by this version of windows". Have tried installing it on every version but still have this problem- when i select ASIO in programme options, or when i do anything to do with midi it just stops working and windows never finds a soloution. Also, it wont upload Vita instruments...

  • Are you trying to install the CD version or the dwonload version of Samplitue Music Studio?

  • CD Version mate...

  • OK I haven't tried installing the CD Version on W7 only the download version . I'll get back to you when I've tried it .

  • Hey kraznet. I figured out how to record drums. but I can not figure out how to record drums all in seperate tracks. I mean like bass in 1 track, snare in the 2nd track... etc.. It all comes in as 1 track. Can you tell me what I need to do this?

  • It depends on what sound card you are using . If you have multi asio inputs right click on each track record button and select the input from there for each track .

  • hey man, I have a question: I am a guitarist, I am planning to make covers of my favorite bands, basically what I want to do is record my guitar and synch it later with a backing track. Do you recommend me this program or adobe audition?

  • I don't have experience with Adobe Audition so I can't comment. Although I would say Samplitude Music Studio is very good value compared to AA . I'm not quite sure what you mean about syncing your guitar. How are you planning on recording your guitar to begin with? Providing you record it with a click track it should be easy to import it later on into Samplitude.

  • Okay, my question is. I am able to record my guitar with samplitude?

  • Yes you can record your guitar straight into Samplitude no probs.Even better Samplitude Music Studio 16 will have Vandal SE included which is a very nice guitar amp/cab plug in . Although the English version isn't released yet .

  • can you rewire things like FL studio?

  • yesh

  • The cable patch interface in reason is totally killer. Reason and Sam are a match made in heaven.

  • Maybe this is a stupid question but can you make industrial music like Ayria and Emilie Autumn or something? :3

  • It like sounds very interesting music

  • can u edit vocals on this?

  • Yes you can .

  • very helpful but you made me sleepy ur voice is relaxing......anyways,thank you alot that was friggin helpful!

  • thank you more than you know

  • Thank you you're very kind :)

    Regards

    Kraznet
