Completely blows Slayer's World Painted Blood out of the water. It's selling better than WPB, too!!

Fucking moron. Megadeth is speed metal. They have been since Rust In Peace then Heavy metal on Countdown to Extinction and on until Risk, which they went to be hard rock. They returned to Heavy metal with the TWNAH and Speed Metal again and remained that way since TSHF. And does it matter the genre? No dumbass, its how good you are. Metallica went Heavy metal with their self titled album (I would maybe say And Justice too but its a mix like Death Magnetic) and hard rock on Load and ReLoad.
Metallica then returned to Heavy metal with St. Anger but wasn't to a great level like their other metal albums but better than ReLoad. But it wasn't better than Load (my third favorite album) Metallica has a mix in thrash and traditional metal with Death Magnetic and might continue or go more into Thrash with more release (if any are announced) but they are the ones to do what they want. The fans don't control the band's music direction, they have to support or oppose it. Understand retard?

Metallica had Dave appear in the Some Kind of Monster and he complained Lars had the video edited to make him look pathetic but it just couldn't get over the past completely like Metallica has (Dave bashes, not Metallica)

@bandit7498 The thing is that Dave has class. They bring him to play the anthem because he is Dave Mustaine, but he keeps it class and respects the anthem without fucking with it. Vai just noodled alot of shit to show off, no respect towards the anthem at all. Dave could've done something "cool and interesting", but kept it simple and respectful.

Class isn't in his vocabulary. 2nd, Hendrix did just what you said about Vai with the anthem and people the world over lost their minds like it was the best thing since sliced bread. I personally thought Hendrix' version sucked ass too, but.... Point is the anthem is ours and every generation has their own way of interpreting it. Vai's version was cool, Dave's was plain Jane and very uninspiring.

Fucking moron. Megadeth is speed metal. They have been since Rust In Peace then Heavy metal on Countdown to Extinction and on until Risk, which they went to be hard rock. They returned to Heavy metal with the TWNAH and Speed Metal again and remained that way since TSHF. And does it matter the genre? No dumbass, its how good you are. Metallica went Heavy metal with their self titled album (I would maybe say And Justice too but its a mix like Death Magnetic) and hard rock on Load and ReLoad.

Metallica then returned to Heavy metal with St. Anger but wasn't to a great level like their other metal albums but better than ReLoad. But it wasn't better than Load (my third favorite album) Metallica has a mix in thrash and traditional metal with Death Magnetic and might continue or go more into Thrash with more release (if any are announced) but they are the ones to do what they want. The fans don't control the band's music direction, they have to support or oppose it. Understand retard?

When will you metallica worshiping idiots get it? Don't be dense, James voice is JUST as annoying on those first three albums if not more, neither of them were winning any medals for vocal talent. But they both had heart and the pure fucking metal style, then james pussied out and took vocal lessons. Thats why everyone loves him, he's more singer than guitarist/frontman. Mustaine makes no qualms that he is A GUITARIST, and he's excellent at what he does. Stomps Metallica ANYDAY.

First off, James was never annoying. Second, James never "pussied out" because he lost his voice you fucking moron. I never heard Steve Vai's version. I'll go listen to it now. But still, this one with Mustain isn't very good. He looks like he's half asleep and like he's just not trying very hard. It's like he just played each note cause he had to. No emotion, nothing out of the ordinary. I did a version like that one time and I wasn't to happy with that either. I'll check out Vai. Thanks.

No its true, Dave came up with the idea to use that prayer in a song. And used it first in his song "Go to hell" which is about him dying and going to hell. How can you have lived so long yet be this retarded. There was nothing about them stating on using the prayer. Both have happened to release songs on the same year with the prayer. Both did the recording around the same time. Enter Sandman was the first song in the works, which a riff is found in Go To Hell (I know the fucking meaning of the song) and Dave said Metallica took it from a band called Excel, yet Megadeth has it too. So really, both bands ripped Excel off.

Metallica never stole from Dave. The founder for the band has the rights to the songs the others do. That would be Lars. Its messed up but thats how it works. The Go To Hell/Enter Sandman has none stealing from each other so you are a moron to include that. Metallica had Dave appear in the Some Kind of Monster and he complained Lars had the video edited to make him look pathetic but it just couldn't get over the past completely like Metallica has (Dave bashes, not Metallica)

And if Metallica belittled Dave's role in the band, then why did they invite him to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame? He declined but for a tour schedule but he would have gone. Mustaine never sweeped at all, and it's still the case today. And his tapping is very basic.
I love Megadeth, and I like Dave Mustaine a lot, but he's far from being such a great guitar player.
He's good, and he's a hell of a songwriter, he created great pieces of thrash metal, but he can't be compared to Vai.
