I think it's more an error of linguistics. Replace the word "Pride" with "Respect" for your ancestors achievemnts. Also in terms of "Black pride". It's more of a form of enpowering self respect that has been taught and nurtured in black people by their parents. Exersizing & demonstrating thier self worth after many years of oppression and celebrating thier heritage through it. Sadly that positive attitude coupled with social division has led to a distorted reflection, reverse racism.
I'm not sure if you can say races are different only... visually? Because, for example, "Black woman have higher rates of breast cancer." Could be because they tend to have bigger breasts, but this isn't the only case of race vs. disease.
Sorry no camera, but I agree with your idea on pride. In the high school I attended You had to show pride in whatever your race/nationality could be. The rifts caused because of it made no sense. Jamaican people who are of African descent refused to believe that they were considered black. (idiots) Everyday during and after school there were fights sometimes which incited riots just because one person did something in a group that the other group didn't like.
