That little Walbro adjusting tool doesn't look exactly flush to me... is there any way you can measure the exact displacement? Thanks! I terribly appreciate your videos!
Excellent video, your level of explanation is very appropriate for us modest DIYers to get it right. In fact your tip about bending up the metering lever up to enrich the mixture is just what I needed to do to fix my problem. The Walbro kit-supplied part had the lever arm so low that I don't think the needle hardly moved up. When trying to accelerate above idle, the trimmer would die out. Eyeballed lever to above the plane a bit as you show in the video and presto - fixo. Thanks so much.
Hello, geat vids! I have a question, I have a troybilt weedeater with a zama cq1 carb. I cant figure out how to get the adjuster caps off the carb. I tried just pulling on them but no deal. Any ideas? Thanks again for the great vids!!! Chris
hey dony, great video as always. i have a ryobi leaf blower with a walbro WYC-4 carburetor on it and i cant get it to run right. ive rebuild the carb with new diaphrams, cleaned out all the holes at least 4 times, and cleaned out the fuel lines and replaced the fuel filter. it will run great for like 5 minutes, then it bogs down and dies. it will idle fine, but when i go to rev it up, it stalls and dies.
Hello, I rebuilt my carb on my ryobi weedeater. It now will only run at full choke, only idle and no throttle response. Per your vid I bent the metering tang up a little so it would be flush. Maybe I bent too far up? Or could it be something else? Thanks
thanks for the video its great, is it different Carburetor Kit for each brand or its universal one fit all cause i have Bolens BL100 and i dont know which one to use if u can help me
Just wanted to say thanks man. My Mom gave me her old Weedeater GTI 17t and I been trying to get that darn thing working for about 2 weeks now, I replaced just about everything on that thing but the carb. So I did a carb rebuild thanks to your video and Bamm got it running pretty damn good again.
Big Thanks man, you helped me out alot and thanks to you I didn't smash the thing into a million pieces lol. Thanks agian.
I watched this video because my weed eater would only crank if i let it set for a long time...then die once i had it going within just a few seconds...I followed your video...on the carb to do a rebuild...but i just disassembled mine and cleaned it in gasoline...and make sure not to tear my gaskets...then just blew it out with an air hose...and reassembled it...and mounted it...and it actually runs correctly...Thank You...:)
if i empty my gas out before winter and leave it for the whole winter, will the diaphragm dry up? i always thought i would its this true. and how do i keep it from going hard and drying up?
Hi, I have a craftsman 17"/25b cc, walbro carburetor,, , ITs exactly the same machine as your xt 250,,, so the trimmer does not run, I have already replaced both fuel lines, the primer bulb, the fuel filter,, I cleaned up the carburator part by part,, with W-40, and I actually did the same thing as you did on minute 1:12, applied the gas directly to the carb and it actually runned, but just for 3 seconds and then it stops until I put gas on it again,, ,,so,, NOTHING WORKED,, can you help me?
The carb has no adjustment's except for the idle speed. I can get the machine started with starter fluid but once you hit the trigger it bogs down. I took the carb apart and sprayed it and ran some fine wire through the needle I guess thats what it was. From your past videos I would say I need a diaphram but not sure which one. Where do you buy them? I also will check the exaust and I think I screwed up the primer bulb
i need a k 20 wat kit

@axlsavage there's a little retainer around both screw caps that needs to be spread out then pull them off with needle nose pliers

MY weed eater will not prime. I can push in the primer button but it will not bring the fuel from the tank to the carb. It is a 2 cycle
MrTuckmaster1 9 months ago
@MrTuckmaster1 make sure all the fuel lines are tight on the connectors, u may need a new carb kit

Hello can this(K20-WAT) be used for the FLSST25? I am really considering of doing this by myself.
khariinaction 1 year ago
@khariinaction if ur carb is a walbro u can, if it's a zama u will need a zama kit. bring ur carb to a small engine shop and buy the right kit

Which model Weedeater is this? I would also like to know whether the k10 wat can be used on SST25 Weed eater.
