I went to school in Nashua NH (big nh city) and that was no different than our little town. Drama, "junkies." granted there are bad areas to live, but my house door is never locked. Never has been. People are so damn negative.
Berlin can be really nice depending on what side you live on. Avoid the east side. It's too bad most of the people replying on here sound like children. Berlin has it's small town politics like any other place. It's very nice there. Living up towards the prison is nice too. Just stay out of the town drama, because as you can see here, people have nothing better to do there then talk shit. There are good and bad people in Berlin, the bad ones are the ones that make you leave and never go back.

the East side there is Burgess St. on the upper half pretty decent, the other part of the East side thats decent is all the way up by Kent St., Coos St. areas, then over by Brookside area is decent Brookside is ok the manager usually tries to filter out the idiots, over by Brown school is pretty decent, the one area I don't recommend where there are a lot of douche bags and junkies is School St. it sucks...lol the whole west side is mixed some ok areas and some bad areas... :-)

I live on the upper part of Burgess and its really nice, one helluva view too. The thing is, there are bad tenants mixed in on this street but usually dont give other people a problem. Once in a blue moon theres a fight between two friends or something and they make a big deal about it but hey, nothings perfect
