Peter Cetera sang lead on many incredible songs, both solo (After All w/Cher) and this gem, with Chicago. My sister has Chicago's Greatest Hits 1982-1989 CD, and my dad has Chicago's 19 album on cassette somewhere, both of which feature this unforgettable song. Another great Chicago song is "You're The Inspiration," which is one of the greatest ballads of all time, along with this gem. I sure wish Peter Cetera would go back to Chicago, and make more songs like this one. Please go home Peter!

Keith Howland is an awesome guitar player but he wasn't on the original Chicago version of this song. Chicago still does a damn great job with this song, especially when it turns into the jam session "get away," but Peter and David Foster did a great job with this orchestral arrangement too.

Chicago sung it first.They wrote it. And Peter sung it first when he was with them. Weslife murdered it. I dont even wanna mention them in the same breath.Their shit.Always have been shit,always will be shit. This version is nice,and its also a key down from the original version.Peters voice has probably lowered a bit (hes now 63) and he may not be able to hit the really high notes anymore.His voice is unique and could soar.

@philster61 Actually Peter wrote it. He can still hit the high notes. I hung out with him, his band, and poll sound out of Salt Lake this weekend as we produced a show with him in Logan, it was great. This video just had bad sound quality.
