Well...Can pokemon be real?

Previously, I have said no, but now I guess I say yes and no.

Pokemon are fictitious characters created by Game Freak, Nintendo, some bored japanese guy, etc. However, some pokemon are based off of mythical creatures (dragons and ghost) And some are based off of real world animals (for example, there IS a mouse that lives in high nountain tops called a "Pika")

So, I guess you can believe that some of those animals exist, but not the actual pokemon themselves.
