The kid's attorney is absolutely right on this. A traffic offense is NOT something that warrants arrest. Mouthing off to a cop does NOT warrant arrest. Refusing to sit on a bench while in a holding cell does NOT warrant a beating.

To be fair there was no assault by the police, the detained was given an order and he refused, told again, and again refuse. He then shoved him into a corner, no true violence was committed. Then another office walks in (probably because he heard a commotion) and saw a fellow officer trying to subdue a prisoner and acts accordingly, (removes firearm and brings a taser). This is an example of a kid mouthing off and not learning his lesson. As for the slam that is not enough for a concussion.

The kid's attorney is absolutely right on this. A traffic offense is NOT something that warrants arrest. Mouthing off to a cop does NOT warrant arrest. Refusing to sit on a bench while in a holding cell does NOT warrant a beating.
These cops took a power trip on this kid because he was in an expensive car and then wasn't contrite enough for their liking when they stopped him and wasn't an obedient little worm before them. He didn't "Kneel before Zod".

To be fair there was no assault by the police, the detained was given an order and he refused, told again, and again refuse. He then shoved him into a corner, no true violence was committed. Then another office walks in (probably because he heard a commotion) and saw a fellow officer trying to subdue a prisoner and acts accordingly, (removes firearm and brings a taser). This is an example of a kid mouthing off and not learning his lesson. As for the slam that is not enough for a concussion.

It was a bogus arrest and the kid can obviously afford a powerful attorney. What reason would he have to comply from that point?

@123456789101121100 No, those fat donut stuffers were just trying to stir trouble because the kid had a rich dad. It doesn't make any sense to tell someone to sit down when he's IN the holding cell. He wasn't a threat to them or anyone else. Then to make it worse, that fat tub of lard gets in there and beats him. They were being bullies and you know that. I know there are good cops out there, but it seems like people like you think they never do no wrong. Get real!

Why can't he stand? There's no law against that, especially when he's already detained in a cell. It's his NATURAL right whether he wants to sit or stand. That's like saying don't breathe, don't be human. Dumb cop just wanted to act "tough" just because he's a loser pig.

The guy was already in the cell, it shoulda been over. The cop had no right to make him sit down and continue his power trip by entering the cell to make him sit down, and threating him with a taser, because he wouldnt sit down in a cage that he is already locked up in? Cops have way too much authority! You cant put that much power into people that dont have the ability to have self disipline.

As long as the police are attacking citizens they are allowed to say there was no assault, but if the situation had been reversed and the officer was shoved into the wall then that guy would be facing a felony.
