Another funny thing about Paul Lynde was that the woman who played the carpenter on Green Acres acted just like him and actually looked and talked like him. He was one of my favorites!
The late great Dean & late great Paul made an absolutely WONDERFUL comedy team. THANKS so much for posting this hilarious footage for us to enjoy. Dean & Paul were consumate pros & entertainment icons. You've made my day & my weekend! :)
@JubalCalif Awww thank you so much. I fell in love with Dean when I was 10. My family thought I was nuts because I only watched TCM and AMC still do and they still think im nuts. Its nice to meet people who enjoy the greats like I do. I may not have lived when they did but I can sure appreciate pure talent.
@NickBoettcher Yeah, they're identical with one minor difference: Paul Lynde is a comic original and funny. Seth MacFartbutt doesn't know how to do funny. Didn't you see "Cartoon Wars" on 'South Park'?
When I was a kid I could tell that Paul Lynde was a little "different" but looking back it was plainly obvious. I say this with all due respect. His talent literally made Hollywood Squares what it was in the early seventies and for many years to come. Just like nitrofumes wrote below, "Nice to take this look back in time before the 'PC' police were around!"
I love Paul Lynde, he was in an episode of Gidget called "Take a Lesson" it was hilarious. I'm 16 and sometimes I wish I could have been born back then.
I've never seen this before. This is HYSTERICAL! What years was this? It's kind of "risque" but funny, funny. Paul Lynde was a funny man. So was Dean Martin. Not many like them around anymore. Sigh.
I love how Lynde goes "That's disgusting" and love the following lines

Im not sure of the year since this was from the DVD set, which is a compilation of the best episodes. The show was on from 1965 to 1974

Mr Martin and Mr Lynde are screamingly funny. I didn't know that American humour got this close to the bone back then. Hilarious!!!
