I downloaded the new version but there are no controls in the tools box? There is a folder that has the tools but there dont show up in the editor. Im new to .net so am I doing something wrong? Im using vb 2008 express.
I don't have all the Advanced HMI components i.e Pilot lights, motors, ETC. I love the concept of the software and the graphics look great! So glad I found it. Also do you have the Hardy scale graphic?
@jlstalman1980 A new release is scheduled for October 7th that will contain all of the coomponents that did not make the version 3 release along with a few more. The Hardy Scale was for a special application and never made it into the AdvancedHMI package.
@wiln2lrn Version 3 is the current version. Version 4 should be out in the next 6 months. The keypad is now integrated into some of the components, such as the BasicLabel. If you put an address in PLCAddressEntry, then click on the BasicLabel during runtime, a keypad will pop up.
@selvaaai You will need to Add Existing Items to the project and select the control (e.g gauge.vb), then add the images to your resources by going to the properties of your projects and Add Existing to the resources.
This is not for everyone, only those that don't want the high costs and limitations of PVs or Wonderware. Hardware and software less than $1600, PV over $4000, Wonderware well over $10,000. I've used all 3 and can get AdvancedHMI running much faster than the other 2.
Do you have any suggestion on how I can enter a value in to a key-pad and have it control a index Value in my Driver.
I have been working on this for a week, and getting nowhere. I need help please

@wiln2lrn Right click the project name in the Solution Explorer, the Add->Windows Form. You will need to add a communication component to each forn,

@jlstalman1980 You have to build the solution in order to get the components in the Toolbox.

This is way more complicated than it needs to be. If you run AB just use Pv's or wonderware.
