That was an act on Shooting Stars, there's many clips of him cracking up laughing while trying to stay grumpy. He was replaced by Will Self, a seriously grumpy looking guy and now Jack Dee, notice any pattern? Vic is clearly enjoying having the tables turned being the contestant. Later episodes of NMTB have Bob Mortimer and the banter between Mark and Bob is just as funny. Remember, Telly Land isn't real!

Vic Reeves made me cry with laughter in this. I'm not sure of what exactly made my ribs hurt the next day though - his band's song, or Bill and Phil's interpretative dance of it. Best show ever.

Spot on, it was beyond embarrassing for Moyles. Insulting Lamarre after the fact because he couldn't keep up in the moment is akin to him just taking every insult and joke that Lamarre made at his expense and adding ",,,MORE" (As in "I hate you" "I hate you, MORE!") to it.
