@CurtisMateer Ha ha !! " uni drop out guy ". That was the immortal Lois Flange.... Mr Lois Flange to you, drummer extrordinaire for our bands The Economic Wizards and Rough as Guts. Flange used to rent part of the upstairs of The Green Door bookshop off Rick. For a while our band used to practice there every Thursday..Rick was actually a huge support to our band right from the start, getting us to play support for The Neighbours.Top guy. "uni drop out guy" ha ha.Cant wait to tell him.Cheers
@jackshitmusic Flange told me he started an MA in lit but got sick of rot about "womb envy in Frankenstein" and whatnot. If it is Flange...this guy was thin and possibly wore a scarf...I was actually surprised to see him out with an attractive lady one evening...never knew he drummed...seriously, about this track - just fantastic, NZ's Van Morrison almost...to think the front man for the Scissormen played bass and recorded it too - a clever guy. Where is he now? I bought their only single.
