  • Rob Gfroerer, "Jenkins," as well as the other guys from The Vacant Lot, appeared in quite a few more sketches than I remembered.

  • there funny

  • @steelydan93 Definitely. He does the face in one of The Chicken lady sketches too. Kevin Mcdonald's high pitch "What Th' hell is wrong with you?!" is great as well.

  • The suit that Dave is wearing is the same one he wore in 'my god they can read my thoughts' skit obviously kids in the hall XD

  • holy shit its Julian Assange

  • Jenkins=Ginger=no soul!=human sacrafice!

  • These are the characters Dave Foley plays best!

  • 4 people are as funny as family guy ::vomits a little::

  • That grin made his career

  • kevin is my favorite

  • David seriously looks like the biggest asshole in history.

  • Sales people are bed wetters and corporate heads are typically satanic, or luciferian as they prefer to be called. It shows how things are not what you think they are. What you assume is unacceptable behaviour & practice in some situations does not apply 2 all situations. When that happens, where is your moral center? Do you have one, at first you balk at the connection 2 dark rituals, but when it is obviously socially acceptable, U put the card for the country club in your pocket. Clever skit.

  • cause of dave's baby face, he can look real creepy just by smiling

  • Are all the Vacant Lot cast in this skit??

  • whenever dave is making kevin uncomfortable- magic happens

  • That blue suit makes Dave look like a ginger!

  • Dave Foley is just great.

  • I was a virgin til 26, too!

  • Why is poor Kevin always the victim?

And why is Dave always so evil?

  • @shortylickens69 They just play at their strengths

  • @shortylickens69 because dave is so good at it & kevins just too easy XD

  • I miss this show so, so much...

  • I've developed a crush on Dave :) he's sooo cute

  • Hey Jenkins was in a Sketch comedy show too, called Vacant Lot, no wonder he looked familiar.

  • Poor Jenkins

  • I'm a bedwetter, too!

  • i love anything with Dave in it

  • dave foley is scary in this.

  • Almighty tallest purple, oh, do I adore your lack of intelligence...

  • Bloody hell funny

  • I like in the beginning when Mark is first introducing Dave and Kevin to each other, and Dave says something like, "pleasure's all mine. I've heard a lot about you, Tom." and Kevin replies, "All good I hope!" And the 3 laugh hysterically.

I think the reason I found that so funny is because that joke is so overused and it's NEVER funny, and KITH knew that and made it funny because they are comical geniuses. The disproportionate laughter to such a lame joke is great.

  • Not trying to spam, but if you look up "thinking out loud" and "clotheslined" you'll see that dave is wearing the same coat and tie that he wears in this sketch. I thought that was interesting and wanted to point it out.

  • @darkb4lightt Not trying to spam? And yet you triple-posted :P I couldn't resist xD

  • @shortsandsheep LOL! I know, right? My internet goes all stupid sometimes and I can't see if I have posted for some reason. :P

  • kevin and dave always work well together

  • this has got to be my favorite

  • why was there 50 bucks on the ground?

  • that why he punched him in the stomach...

  • kids in the hall was around when snl was really good though.

  • jesus are this guy for real? this was amazing!!!!!!!

  • Dave's Mr. Frost wearing same suit and tie as , Dave's Mr. Shatner on sketch: thinking out loud!!

  • i love how kevin's arguing about rye bread at the beginning

  • Kevin and Dave have to be my favorites. They work great together.

  • @steelydan93 Isn't it though? LOL! Love his face!

  • I agree. Did you know that they have a new series starting in January 2010 called "The Kids In The Hall: Death Comes To Town".

  • Poor Jenkins...

  • This character should have showed up more than once.

  • lol Kevin McDonald is so delightfully awkward, and Dave Foley can look so evil when he wants to. I love it! You guys should search "Dear guy I clotheslined"...an awesome Foley monologue sketch.

  • Hilarious! OT: I wonder if the jacket Dave is wearing is the same one he still always wears... :-D

  • How much of comedy is truth?

  • hah lol

  • ceo's

  • I can't deny I really don't like the last bit with him punching Kevin and Kevin gets 50 bucks. It could have just ended with Kevin thanking him.

However, this sketch is still one of my favorites, just thought the ending was a little odd.

  • The entire joke is that the Dave, for no reason at all, tries to destroy Kevin, but it keeps falling out to Kevins advantage. Out of frustration he punches Kevin, but, once again, Kevin accidentally wins.

  • I always found the joke that Dave was inadvertently helping Kevin, though Kevin didn't realize it. But I still just felt the 50 bucks bit was tacked on. Other than it it felt like classic KiTH

And see, that's what's amazing about Kids in the Hall. You could have a discussion about the meaning behind the sketch in it's entirety. Other sketch shows are just "HEY THAT RECURRING CHARACTER SAID HIS CATCHPHRASE, I GET IT!"

  • No you just don't get it. Listen to Mrtzman he understands the joke. It just went over your head.

  • I agree! Way better than most SNL sketches

  • The ending was AWESOME!

  • One of my favorties by far.

The reason shows like this stop is cause at some point they just don't have stuff that's as good as there best, in the later seasons a lot of the gags in this like with in Monty, living col ect. are largely just rehashes of older classics.

Mad TV was always like that from the beginning. Stupid and repetitive, and since thats not hard they can keep coming up with old material again and again.

  • God, when Dave just stands there and smiles...he's so beautiful!

  • Sketches like this makes me lamant that Genius shows like Kids in the hall and In living color has gone into obscurity and are so hard to find syndicated on television yet Mad T.V. was allowed to go on for as long as it did. it's sinful!

  • so very very true

  • i wanna do that to some one at a party

  • You know, I love Kids in the Hall, so I've watched a bunch of their videos. Unbelievably, you are the first person I've seen that has pointed out this fact that I thought was obvious, something many people would point out. David Foley is adorable! I've been watching these vidoes with a big crush on him, and I'm thinking "Why am the only one that thinks that? Do I have bad taste?"

  • You aren't the only one. I like Mark the best, honestly, but Dave is a close runner up. You should check out videos where he plays Jocelyn. Everybody oogles over that Dave character.

  • Yeah, I can't say that I blame them. He made a great Jocelyn. He was the prettiest woman of all the KITH.

  • unfortunately or fortunately ive put these guys jokes and behavoirs into my own life. Sometimes it goes right over peoples heads, but the few laugh there ass off. Them few will go to heaven, the rest TO HELL.

  • Very few comedians have a total mastery over delivery and timing the way these guys did.

  • Does this skit remind anyone of that old Twilight Zone sketch with the old man who has what everybody needs?

    Haha

  • This skit is so amazing. I think my favorite part is where Kevin just blurts out "what the HELL is wrong with you?!" I mean, seriously, it's the perfect reaction that's on all our minds. Also, for Dave, sometimes the funniest thing to do is absolutely nothing at all. :D

  • That line works because Kevin is sounds incredulous than angry...and that is what makes it so funny.

  • @greedymuppet

Lol! What the HELL is wrong with you?!

  • Long live Satan! xD

  • "Wow, I gotta go think" lmao

  • this guys are amazing i miss their show

  • why'd he puch me hey 50 bucks

  • This skit is genius!

  • Jennkins is the tough computer geek from pcu pit party. Get your feet of the desk.

  • Kewlios

  • I love this skit. It cracks me up and ,from the look on Dave Foley's face, he finds it funny too.

  • It's sort of a bizarre Laplace's Demon situation. This video is an answer to the question "What does a person that knows the outcome of every action do to help others?"

  • Laplace's Demon? Sounds interesting

  • @LuckyPagoda Dear Lord. I'm amazed that someone would put even that level of thought into a sketch, but I guess that's what happens when sketches are actually well-crafted.

  • @LuckyPagoda I think that someone who knows the outcome of every situation would A) think of a way to help people without insulting them, and B) would use their powers to help more than just one guy.

  • @LuckyPagoda I never even heard of that! Amazing! I read some info on Wikipedia and realized that a couple of my favorite characters had this ability like Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen and Paul Atreides from Dune. Who knew that it was an older concept? Not me :)

  • @spinynorman1982 Good catch man, I understand Dune a lot more now. In regards to your screen name:

    DINSDALE!

  • @blindthrall DINSDALE!

  • @spinynorman1982 dinsdale?

  • Dave sure has worn that ugly suit alot i've seen it in other sketches

  • this sketch is fucking great

I love the look on Dave Foleys face, you can tell how hard he's trying not to laugh

  • haha thats awesome!

  • "Why did he hit me in the--hey, fifty bucks!!"

  • this is soooo funny!

  • LLLOOOLLL!!!The kids in the hall are trully unique!!!P.s:First comment!!!
