I don't get something, maybe one of you can help. When you Recive Silent Hill Homecoming, on the back it reads you the details in English and in Spanish but, when you play the story, you can't read or hear the game in Spanish. They don't add the Audio change do they?

The language on the game depends on your console language settings. You can't change that in the proper game, it automatically sets up to that.

As a video game movie, it wasn't so bad. In fact actually pretty good. However, compared to the games(the ones made by Team Silent; SH 1-4), it's really bland. It doesn't have the grotesque and disorienting imagery, however it does a good job on the atmosphere. The thing that killed it the most was it's lack of originality, and psychological symbolism. They basically took the plot of the first SH, butchered it, and threw in a bunch of monsters from diff. games( thus taking away their symbolism).

no, you dont have to play the 1, at least if you want to play the 2 or the 5, you dont need to.

Personally, i loved the 2: restless dreams, but all of them are great. the 3 and zero (origins) are connected to the 1. Then you have shattered memories, which i never played but i think is connected to the 1 too.

You can really pick up any of the first few titles and be able to dive right in... But SH2 is definitely the one to play. The first is very hard to find, (I have a PC copy that my friend got me), and the third is very story intensive, but the character is not nearly as well formed as in SH2. Very rarely do SH games continue a series of characters directly. The games usually elude vastly to previous characters and their relation to the the current cast. But that's what makes them great.

ps3 yesterday and I rented out Silent Hill Homecoming and Resident Evil 5. Homecoming is really good... not sure about it having the atmosphere of 2 and 3 though but I like it's story anyway.

It's interesting to play as a discharged soldier and you can tell he's a pro because of the way he wields those weapons. So far I still like all the Silent Hill games.
