this is only my opinion that the gearbox issuses are happing to the phase one built bikes,i did have a june 2010 built bike which was a phase 2 built bike and no issuses with gearbox apart from a neutral i would hit very rarely between 5th and 6th gear but i would blame either my shifting or possibly the quickshifter not having the timing right..? either way i put 3500 miles of quiet hard riding and was very happy with the bike until i got hit off it by a cage driver,new bmw bike in march 2011

Yeah, their is no tranny problems.

I wonder how long BMW will claim ignorance of the transmission issues....probably until people start dying, then MAYBE.
