The plastic paddies seem to think there was some kind of full scale civil war wageing in N/Ireland but this clip puts what was going on in context, soldiers trained for combat ,had one arm tied behind thier back by the rules of the yellow card,being asked to complete "policing Duties" ,then on occasion having to react to the odd Terrorist incident instead of taking the battle to them,some soldiers served 22 years in the 80's and 90's ,completed numerous tours and never even fired a shot in anger
