@NKRV6900000 McKellen was awesome as Magneto. True he wasn't all buff and muscular like in the comics but he had that air of sophistication about him. He created a villain that you could actually consider joining, not just a typical "bad guy".

Sir Ian McKellen IS one of the greatest British actors of all time. He played McBeth along side Dame Judy Dench in 1979 AND Hamlet in 1970. A true actor, long before Hollywood.

It's too bad I'm complimenting him in a comment on a Last Stand-related video. The movie was below him, although, as usual, the quality of his acting wasn't dragged down by it.

Yeah, but there is no one else I could honestly see playing Magneto or Gandalf but yes he should be in better films.

Da Vinci Code was mediocre, worth seeing for him but mediocre so I hope he does something really spell-binding

I do agree that x2 is the best one, but i still like X3, and if you look closely at this clip you can see gambit behind magneto, people know this already i think, 1:14 is when you'll see him, i think kevin Zegers should play him in X4
