  • Fans of The Cramps and b-movie horror rock might like a couple vids I just posted: "Rosetta West - Shakin' All Over," and "Rosetta West - Low."

  • I feel like an idiot for discovering the Cramps within the last few months, seeing them live would be better than orgasm.

  • @Nisp4 better late than never, my friend!!!!

  • @TheLexyboy True true are they touring anymore? Without Lex it definitely wouldn't be the same tho :(, but it would be worth it for Ivy.

  • @Nisp4 Cramps shows were orgasmic-multiples! For 8-10 years running they played my town on Day of the Dead right after their annual Halloween shows in San Francisco. The last few years, Lux wasn't allowed to take his dick out of his pants, but the last year I saw them before he died, he bumped his cock in my face and I got the play list. Oh happy day. Rest in peace, my favorite pervert. Thanks for 25 good years.

  • Lux didn't die!! He was not of this Earth. He simply returned to Mars. His Daddy let him drive his U.F.O. but we Earthlings now suffer the loss...

  • This was a great tour line up , a great album ,I still cant believe such a wild spirit could die.

No more Cramps just aint right

  • love them all ....no matter what.

  • I want a band with chicks like that too. :-P

  • @Hieronymus76 Only the one chewing gum was born a girl...

  • LOL, really? Ah well, they did a good job. :-)

  • What kind of a fucking idiot are you? Poison Ivy is a gorgeous natural-born woman, just like Fur. Lux isn't a transsexual - he's a transvestite. There is a difference, and he's straight anyway.

  • Ασ α ματτερ οφ φθψκεδ. Τηισ ισ πρεττυ ψοολ!.

  • thanx 4 the info!

  • Your right! March 86, on the eve of the uk date with Elvis tour! I was very young and watching,I also attended the Loughborough university gig they played the following may and they altered the coarse of my then teenage life!

  • And I saw them in Cardiff on that very same tour, one of the best gigs I ever went too.A totally unique band that should have been bigger than bubble gum,Lux was an absolute one off.

  • "A totally unique band that should have been bigger than bubble gum,Lux was an absolute one off"

    How right you are.

  • RIP Lux.

  • the most sexy powerfull hard rockin band ever

  • r.i.p. lux.

  • This sounds like The Cramps-meet-Sonic Youth with all that cool geetarr(SIC) noize(SIC)!

Bye bye Lux. His heart finally gave out after he pushed the old ticker one beat too far.

  • with candy del mar on bass. fantastic, this is how i remember The Cramps.

but lux and Ivy Poison Rorschach.....

    the cream of the crop!

  • hehe u must have snagged somethin in them fishnet stockins.......

  • I swear, the Cramps reinforce what rock and roll is all about. Its a shame so many have forgotten. Been a fan since the early 80s. I know lux is old but god damn that man can rock

    Stay sick

  • i've seen lots of bands...

but still to this day the cramps are the loudest band i've ever seen!

    Brizzard, you rock too mate

  • I just saw on Wikipedia he was born in 1946. I find this hard to believe.

  • @Brizzad505 lux was old, when he died.

  • Love the Cramps! BTW, I'm uploadin' 3 Cramps vids that aren't on YouTube yet after I get done downloadin' them: Bacon Fat, Sade County Auto Show, Strange Love.

  • Poison Ivy is bloody sweet! At least for me.

  • I remember seeing this on The Tube, it is one of my favourite You Tube vids and Tear it up. It is so raw and unique, you don't see this on TV anymore ! Let's have a revolution not fit in like cogs in the business machine (Dead Kennedy's quote)

  • Fantastic - can't find anywhere to download on mp3

  • get and job and buy it then.

  • Yeah thanks -very helpful

  • Haven't tried to buy it?

    :D

  • awesome sound

  • yes>! rockin rollin raw as fuck eh!! what everyon misses when they diss this band,, its in the sound! roots!

  • Hey, sounds cool. Can you translate into plain German?

    Appreciato!

  • Pure bad R'n'R...

    Pure pleasure...

And these freaks are made for!

  • how this song is called??

  • that guitar sounds insane!

  • Damn I wish I knew what kinda distortion/fuzz IVY is using. That tone is fried toxic nastyness from the bowels of Satan himself. Anyone know?

  • It's a univox superfuzz

  • it's the old single coil Gretsch guitar with a bit of distortion through a Fender amp and shifty off bitch (pitch) vibrato technique. It's not a technique - it's an attitude! Right?

  • Actually, they are humbuckers, although a rather small size. Super-brite, and twang city. You may be thinking of the Dyna-Sonic style pickups, which mostly came on solid-body guitars.

Don't forget her fuzz, too! Might be an Ampeg Scrambler or Shin-e octave fuzz. Definitely sounds raunchy and '60s.

  • Yeah, I'd say a Skrambler. Those things produce the most wicked, hellacious tones on earth!

  • probably shin-e superfuzz, ampeg scrambler, etc. '60s-style octave fuzz. Pick up a Danelectro French Toast for $35. It'll git r dun.

  • does anyone fancy a pint?

  • game on!

  • this has to one of the top ten coolest vids of all time.

  • there was no better thing to do at a cramps show than look up ivy's dress all night long. man has great fuckin legs. luv u ivy.

  • Turd

  • If you like this then check out Daddy Fantastic

  • bang rocks to primal cave toons

  • no-one plays music that is even close to this. what a boring world we got now - where is the down and dirty?

  • What an awesome tone Ivy's getting here!

  • Would ya look at Lux!! What a maniac! I just love everything about the Cramps! Wow, they were such a great group! Long live Cramps!!!
