  • The background music is beautiful. What's the name of it?

  • "Le dor va dor" as is stated at the end. Freely translated as from generation to generation...

  • I agree, I have been to Ben Ezra Synagogue in January this year, and I was amazed it's truly an amazing place and it carries Jewish history in Egypt, it's sad that it's abandoned and not used anymore

  • Ya gama3a..there is difference between jews (relegion) and zionists (or Israel supporters)..I respect any jew who is not zionist nor supports Israel...Layla Morad was jewish and was very loyal to Egypt before and after she became muslim...Our war is with Israel and zionism..not with the jews...we are cousins afterall

  • Anti-semitism is rampant in Egypt as is Holocaust denial. It is getting worse. It will continue whilst Israel mistreats the Palestinians both Muslim and Christian.

  • I am Jewish and live in Egypt now.... any other red sea pedestrians here...?

  • I could be ur friend. Religion doesn't change any thing.

  • Hi there, Very beautiful! such a rich Jewish history in Egypt... Jewish Egyptians were EGYPTIANS, great Egyptians like any Egyptian!

  • I Totally agree with u.

  • @tarek307 not so great...i liked jewish egyptians as well, but when i read more about them..they hate us egyptians they and they were they only ethnic group who were constantly spying on egypt, they are not egyptians anymore .they are simply israelise , till they learn to respect and love their fellow egyptians

  • i'm Egyptian from Alexandria. we have two synagogue in "mahatet el raml Station". thanks for uploading this clip becuase i was intersting in knowing what the synagogue would be inside. once, i was passing by i wish to enter but the security did not allow me to enter. I have 2 Q...1-how did you enter there or the one take pics ? 2-is this Cairo synagogue in Adly street or in Alex??

  • It is good that the crime of dispersal and stripping of citizenship of Jews did not mean Egyptians destroyed remnants of Jewish life in Egypt to include synagogues. There have been positive signs that the policies of discrimination are being rethought in Egypt, every Jew hopes that effort will continue.Egyptian Jews should be allowed, welcomed back home with open arms free to worship and contribute to society!

  • Sorry, but the reality is quite the opposite. Ever arise with greater force, demonstrations and anti-Jewish expressions, including sectors related to the Egyptian government.

  • Egypt did not force any of Jews to leave the country. I have evidence, I know, personally, a Jewish lady -who passed away recently- refused to leave Egypt and said NO Egypt is my Country, Israel is not. Therefore she had the choice to stay in Egypt.

  • Not as easy as u think, she probably was lucky.

  • I hope so. i really do. This should be the right time.

  • @Gabriella788 no they wont be welcome..if we welcome them with open arms they have to let go of the israeli citizenship and declare their loyalty to their fellow egyptians and never work with foreigner invaders against egyptian interests
