What happened at that Goodwill if it did was clearly discrimination against transgender people and as a transgender person myself I can tell you they had no right to do that to you and so you should consider suing or better yet boycotting Goodwill.Remember gender is a social construction and is not the same thing as sex even though the two words are used exchangeably,know the difference and make Goodwill learn from it's mistake.
