ok... when i played this game way back when, i never got far, i was still green in my gaming career, hardly able to do anything real productive, specially since i could never get past olga first time round, but i see since i quit alot of the time, i never saw the good stuff.... question, what the HELL is fission mailed? and why doed that damn screen come up like that?

@KageGodo It has to do with the fact that Raiden is being messed with by the Colonel. Fission Mailed is nothing more than Mission Failed. It doesn't really mean anything. I beleive later on, the Colonel's face gets distorted and his voice changes. He then shows the original Metal Gear game for the NES. Pretty funny and wacked!!

@HellsSpot i think its a glitch, hes suppose to be using the assault rifle like in the cutscene(m4 i think its called idk) otherwise hes just using an automatic pistol

Y'know I really like the alert buzzer/encounter theme of this game. It is SO improved from MGS1, and it's much more modern and realistic.

You can just randomly stab people while on the red side and they'll die instantly. You can also hit multiple people at once with the thrust.

use L1 to deflect bullets. One time on hard mode snake killed me because I didn't wanna use my rations and killed me by kicking me and one time he died as well this part is hard when you have only one ration and you have save it for the rays. i never did beat this game on hard.
