What a wonderfully comforting collection of english semieccentricity. I didn't notice anything american. Is there anyone from over here that you like?
@redtony58 Thanks, several of these books are American in cluding The Apple Grower, I posted a shorter suppleentary vid on the US boks in my collection.
@saltyshellback I only recently discovered Kindle, there are a lot of free downloads. I just downloaded several by Charles Dickens plus Alice in Wonderland. You can read on your PC if you don't have a Kindle, just download free software.
@stephenhayesuk I am really thinking about getting some kind of e-book because I travel quite a bit. My son has a Nook, but I am only marginally impressed. I may see if I can get a used one or a used kindle.
Ive seen librarys with less of a selection, amazing! Nice to see the occasional reference to Ireland here and there to Stephen! My favourite book to date has to be "The Man Eaters of Tsavo" by Sir John Henry Patterson, an Anglo-Irish Colonel and Engineer sent to Kenya in 1898 to construct a bridge and his accounts of his hunt for two man eating lions responsible for the deaths of 100s of bridge workers.... gripping, chilling....and a true story!
i love old penguin books!

I need to try to do more recreational reading. I am slowly making time to do it, but it is something I'm actively trying to do. Nice books!
