  • A few years ago, it really struck me when I heard this piece from a bbc programme late junction. Actually the one from Exploratory Music From Portugal CD, but so good that I immediately ordered the album from Mr.Laginha website.

    Sadly enough, Sassetti, Laginha, and their collaborations are little known outside Portugal, I guess.

    I recommend their piano bass drum trio cds from Cleanfeed(also Laginha & M.Joao) and "3 pianos live" by Burmester, Sassetti, Laginha.
