Honestly? This rant is the same I did (sort of :P) when I saw the new prices. I'm down to buying one kit per month and a blister of green stuff... my next project is a Rhino base kit which I'll magnetise it's parts and scratch build/convert it into a 4 in 1 tank. Rhino, Razorback, Whirlwind, Predator depending on what I need. :/

GW "finecast" prices make the niche resin sculpters look cheap, I'd rather buy a McVey or Enigma sculpt which actually require ZERO prep for the price they cost which is far less than a finecast model, if you're going to charge piss take prices atleast have fucking good QC.

The price increase is something that has been happening every summer for the last few years. It just so happens that the finecast mold system came out around the same time as GW's seeming arbitrary price increase.

True, but as usual, the reasoning is what bothers me. Not only that, but the announcement of it- or the lack thereof. On the UK GW website, it is there. If you search for it at the bottom, and even then it's hard. And then it's a single sentence in small writing.

Loving the rage about pricing... its a hobby. Im not condoning price rises, but it is something that happens every year and is an unfortunate part of it.

Funny thing : I cast some of GW stuff in resin for my own uses and it's waaaaaaay cheaper than *plastics*. I mean wtf? 20 pounds for 5 GK? Fuck that, I have 2 kilogrames of resin in that price!
