Nope, LCD displays definitely have their place in a modern world unlike this one. There are useless inventions but it doesn't mean inventing them was useless, could still be a good idea or new technology behind it that helps people to come up with something totally different and useful. What I hate about this case is mostly that they actually try to mass-produce and sell this to consumers.

Yea, it's ridiculous that the manufacturers usually try to sell as much of these raw versions as possible. (Like Ericsson's first color display phone f.ex) But... If you can sit the right distance from this, it is potentially a 3D display. Show left eye view on one channel, right eye view on another. Bang.

Parallex barrier displays are not too new. Maybe needing too wide an angle between each view prevents the 3D application. It's great to see one being sold in a TV though.

Its been around for a while; hydrogen. BMW, Mazda, and Ford all have H2 vehicles availble right now. Honda and Toyota both have previously had hydrogen cars as well. Its just still much more expencive to switch to a hydrogen economy, even though hydrogen is far superior to gasoline in every way. Try getting all the facts, hippy. I doubt you'd want to pay $10+ a gallon just so you think you are saving the environment--many ULEV cars actually emit cleaner air than what gets taken in. STFU.
