  • I like how, when he's doing the Hyde part, he's actually singing! Most actors playing him choose to snarl and yell instead of singing.

  • ARESOME!!!

  • To be honest I watched the DVD English version and laughed through this scene. I didn't think it was possible for it to not look ridiculous. But I actually understand what they were trying to do when I see this version, because it actually looks good!!

  • I love how every version of hyde no matter who the actor is does that finger thing its great !

  • He's good but Ryu Jung Han is a lllooooooooot bettter :) like this guys Hyde voice is good but its sounds like Jekyll still but when Ryu Jung does it The Difference is Astounding :)

but this guys still good to :)

  • C'est vraiment un merveilleux chanteur ! Sa version est magnifique !

  • :D Hyde Fingers are the new Spirit Fingers XD

    Lovveeed thiisssssss

  • I do not understand a single word but this is a really great performance. He is good. And I think you do not have to understand the language to like his acting.

  • The first transition needs to be slower it adds to the menace of Hyde in this side.

  • This is one of my favorite versions of this song of all time.

    Cho Seung-woo + Jekyll & Hyde = Perfection

  • Comment removed

  • Holy shit, he's really good! You can feel the evil coming from his Hyde and the desperation of his Jekyll! =O.O=

  • Absolutely wonderful! I'd say he's a WHOLE lot better than the guys that are on Broadway. He's going to go far if he hasn't already!!

  • amazing

  • He is just awesome!! words can't describ his talent!!

  • You don't need to do that lol I mean He is really awesome haha Give me five!! ^^

  • Wow. That was intense.

They never write parts this crazy good for women.

  • So true.

  • ....Better than any english version ever.

    That was intense!

  • This is one of those songs where you don't really have to understand the language in order to get the concept and just enjoy the song. :]

His tone of voice (voices?) and the lighting and his movements makes it perfectly clear what the song is about, at least in general... Makes for a very enjoyable experience, even if one can't understand the lyrics.

  • You said it perfectly!

  • Cho Seung Woo is by far my fav. Jekyll and Hyde and this video shows why. The transition on one note from Jekyll to Hyde at 1:32-1:33-ish actually scared me! 0_0;

  • So true! This is awesome!

  • See Confrontation sung by Ekborg here at YouTube. It's unreal.

  • That version in swedish is AWESOME. Anders is great.

  • Wow!! Cho Seung-woo sings!! good good very good!!! :D

I just watched 말아톤 among his films.

    Now I want to watch 타짜...though I'm not 19 yet haha;;

  • God he's good! lol, he sounds like the asian version of Anthony Warlow!

  • What a compliment! but you gotta know Anthony Warlow has never played as this role on stage. Anyhow I loved that concept recording which he is in it :)

  • Yeah, I love Anthony's concept cast. Too bad he never did perform it on stage (Why the hell did they choose Robert Coicoulwhatever anyway? Pretty much every Jekyll I've heard was beter than him!)

  • O__O SOOOO GOOD. *faves it*

  • i cant understand a word he says but i no its good lol

  • Wow.

Sorry for the pointless comment, but that's about all I can say.

  • Don't be sorry lol Thanks for the comment^^

  • I'd have to say that this is one of the best Confrontations that I've seen on Youtube.

  • Then you gotta see Jekyll & Hyde Korean Ver. (Part 13 of 14)posted by monmonsnow ^^ cuz I like that better haha :D thanks~

  • Monmonsnow had his (?) account deleted months ago.

  • Oh my bad! monmonsnow2 is correct ^^

  • Do you know what happened to those videos? I can't seem to find them.

  • I guess he(?) made them private :(

  • Dang! I would love to see that!

  • Whoa O_O That was like good lol xD;

  • wow... he is really good!

I love the backings singing along

  • yeah not bad huh? and he was only 24 years old when he played this role in 2004 :)

  • yeah he's way better than hoff...and i dont even know what he's saying lol

  • exactly the same blocking (if you could call it that) but his musicality trumps Hasselhof's hands down.

  • How can someone be that talented and good-looking?

  • pitty I dont get nothing he says ... :s

  • Choさんの演技は崩壊を食い止めようとするジキル博士の苦しみと決意が伝わってくるようです。

  • His musicallity is SOOOOO much better then the Hoffs its ASTOUNDING...

  • Mr. cho is really good. although I prefer the other one of 2 Jykill at this cast.(:

  • He's very good -but he's trying to be a bit like David Hasselhoff with the wiggly fingers thingy hehe =] Amazing though!

  • He is excelents singing and acting. Almost as good as Anthony Warlow singing, and almost as good acting as David hasselhoff.

  • Almost as good as Hasselhoff? This guy is better by far.

  • Sorry, I meant better. (I just woke up and was half asleep when I typed that. I'm surprised I didn't screw anything else up)

  • dude, hasselhoff was a lot better. I know most people have a grudge for hasselhoff, not the greatest fan myself. But his preformance was impressing.

  • you are kidding right?

  • Damn! That guy is freakin awesome! He definitely gave me the sudden feeling of fear in a way. O_O

  • O_O He is amazing! Pitty there isn't whole movie with him rather than Hasselhoff. (though I don't understand Korean)

  • This is absolutely brilliant!!!! A+++++

  • You guys should check out the Confrontation by Robley89 its really good.

  • he's not lying

  • =O

    You were right!

  • This guy's really freakin' good... Probably the second best version I've heard, right below Anthony Warlow in the original concept cast recording.

  • oh this is soo cool :D

    hes a great artist :D

    thanks for sharing!

  • Heh, nice to hear it in Korean. Love it. ^-^

  • same here same here..

  • This guy is absolutely amazing. ^^

  • omg it gives me a shibber...i knew that Cho Sung-Woo was a wonderful actor but didn't knew he was this good at singing.

  • The staging is awesome, but I think the green light should be red but that's just my personal taste. Great vid!

  • Well it kinda gives a malfitiant look..

  • Well, in Asia, red has a nice, properous meaning. Green is considered devilish.

  • Fantastic!

Do you have "No One Knows who I Am" that you could posT?

  • BTW, do you have "Bring on the Men" from this show? Some else had it posted, but they were banned from the site.

  • Nooo I don't have it.

  • Wow man. He did WAAAAAAY better than Hasselhoff in the version I saw. I can just FEEL this guy's energy, he's a way better actor and singer. I wish he had used the stage more, instead of copying pretty much exactly everything Hasselhoff did (sans ripping off his shirt). Great nonetheless.

  • It's suppose to be that way.

  • Sure, it was like that originally, but that doesnt mean that one can try and be more artistic, and apply their own blocking right?

  • True.

But they should do it like if they used mirrors.

If you know what I mean,

  • In the production I saw at camp recently, the director split the role in two, so that during the confrontation, Jekyll and Hyde were actually grappling with each other. It worked really well for the finale also, where both actors were moving and speaking together.

But I digress. This guy rocks.

  • But it's not always up to the actor: the directors have the most say as to the overall staging and blocking.

  • Well I kinda knew that.

But I wish they use a director that would use my therois.

  • Cool, very cool! It's interesting to see how this was staged. I have the album with Anthony Warlow but I've never seen this show live.
