As a Millbrook High alum, our Ensemble performed Fruitcake every Christmas from 1971-75. Not sure when Mrs. Marley introduced Fruitcake into the rotation but it had I remember my sister singing it in the early 70's. EJ

Our chorus did it last Wednesday...it was great! I got sift the flour...the great part about it was there are like 5 guys, 3 of the are soprano, and our director wanted the guys together, so it sounded a little messy.

yeah my middle school does this every year with their top chorus, which is SSA and amazing. :) this group's costumes look really neat and orderly and distinguished, so that's cool! I love this song though and still sing it all the time. :)

This is the best version of "Fruitcake!" I've seen on Youtube, which isn't saying too much honestly. The problem with every choir that does this song is that they up the tempo far too much. They don't give the song enough to time build up in the beginning or the end thus ruining the effect of the song. That being said, this choir was not bad. Excellent choreography , except for maybe the Sopranos, every time they do their twirl they wind up farther and farther away from each other. Good job!
