By default it should by to hold down F2 and then hit F1 to return to idle. Like the speedy response? =)

Do you like FS2004 better than fsx?

It's hard to say. I like certain features of both. My computer can run FS9 on 30 frames with the highest settings where I get 15 frames on Medium-High on FSX. What I miss most from FSX when I play FS9 is the Virtual Cockpits. I think they look magnificent in FSX. However I love the smooth flying and addons of FS9. I generally fly on FSX more often though.
