I was sorta curious to watch these guys after seeing BB's royal assholeness on QBC. Now that I've seen this, it's okay. The guys with guitar's would make a good bar band. But BB sucks on the drums. I mean the 13 year old girl at my kids high school has better meter. Why would you even need a drummer for this band...kick it upwith a drum machine. I mean, it's hard a shit to play when you're drummer can't keep time. Ride it out until BB's heart explodes from the cocaine.
these guys are a pretty solid band. they played together very well. they weren't really anything noteworthy in my opinion though, aside from the fact that its billy bob on the drums.

Billy Bob is also a hard guy to "not like" and although he wants the band to stand on its own merits , his mere presence adds some charisma , his talents put him right smack dab in the middle of his peers. Honestly, after seeing this I don't even get why they got invited for the interview. WHAT is there to talk about?? A couple hillbillies that have the money to play on a stage instead of a garage. It didn't work out in movies or music, when will you just give it up already BB?

I don't like anything that Billy Bob has done musically and certainly not this. But people seem to be bent on dishing this band because Billy Bob is an actor and therefore, shouldn't make music. If the man wants to play music let him. Don't like it? Switch if off. Some people are way uptight... And yes, he was a douche on the Q interview...

Listen to all you music critics out there. This ain't rocket science, and it isn't the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition either, it's rock and roll. The band is in a decent groove, the crowd is havin' fun, That's the point!!

he's not a great drummer, average at best. but being in a band isn't about being the best musician anyway. the band gets more publicity because he's an actor. unfortunately for him no matter how many bands he's in, or how many albums he makes he's always going to be an actor first. why? because he's a better, much better actor.

I agree and disagree with you. The idea isn't always to make music. Sometimes it's about women or making money. But, I do agree that meter is a key component. Something Thornton appears to sorely lack. He's no musician.
