@JigsawCaptain Her name was really Laura Nigro we went to Junior High in The Bronx her and three Puerto Rican girls had a doo wop group and I used to hear her sing this way back then with harmony background in a subway tunnel on 183rd street and The Grand Concourse, funny but an older guy five blocks away named Chuck Negron was also harmonizing in a hallway with three guys, Well she became Laura Nyro, he became lead singer for Three Dog Night and she wound up writing I think two of their hits. .
