  • Nice I have one I put in a tank but it won't land to a rock or glass, it's up side down how do I get it to attach to something ?

  • @honeybudd1 Please visit my video titled "Rose Bubble Tip Anemone Care" to find the answers you seek. Good luck.

  • Me and My man were up at 5:30 in the am Hammering the rock apart to save our dragons eye. We left the anemone intact and gave it away to one of my mans co-workers in exchange for very lovely Rose colored polyps and some neon green ones. Nice compromise. Cuz my man wanted to just kill it and yank it out the tank... But I cant see such a beautiful creature thrown away in vain.

  • @ThatChicDiva Wow, well at least now you know what to do if it ever occurs again :)

  • wish I knew that this morning. I have 8 Anemone and counting the split quite rapidly and one detached last night and relocated to the other side of the tank to a rock that my Dragons Eye Polyps are attached to.

  • @ThatChicDiva Ouch. Good luck.

  • @Sisco296 I guess the only way is to check your inbox, or revisit the video. A simply like or favorite will do if you like the videos. Thanks.

  • @MrBelly209 Plan B would be to brake down the cave and turn the rock around :) As for the algae, please watch the many videos I have on algae problems and solutions to find the answers you seek.

  • everytime i look for an info vid on youtube you pop up with the exact info i need well done and thanks steelo.

  • Just a note to let you know as I have done aquariums in the past for many years,But a new comer to the hobby as it today,I find your vids are Fantastic and you passion and dedication to the hobby comes through very sincere. Thanks for that and Keep em comin!!

  • @mugginsdot Your welcome. Thanks for the much appreciated comment :)

  • @rubenygenesis All are bought and glued on to the rock. The purpose of the live rock is for the organisms that come with it. In most cases, corals do grow on some pieces but are most likely killed in the shipping.

  • I was wondering of you are supposed to glue corals onto live rock because I've seen many people on YouTube do it?

  • @Thehumancat1 Yes if it is an SPS or LPS coral, and you cannot properly secure it to the rock. I have a few of my corals glued to the rock using a product called IC-Gel. Thanks for watching :)

  • im getting into saltwater and i want a anemone but i cant find the right 1 and i want 1 with long tentacles and that will stay small

  • @ashhoe1 All anemones grow quite large, but the smallest that I would look into if I were you is a sebae anemone. Much hardier than most and and a lot less expensive as well. Does not have long tentacles but it mas many tentacles that can be somewhat a bit long in some sebae anemones. Good luck and be sure to visit my video with the clownfish poster review. It talks about lots of species :)

  • Steelo, will this work to get a clam to release its foot from a rock also?

  • @tcwinsor Never tried it before, but its worth a try. Good luck.

  • did the clowns host to the mini carpet?? i dont think they will you might have a better chance hosting those with a damsel ..

  • @kingjafu They never did. They ended up being in a rose anemone. You are right about the carpet and the species of clowns. A clarkii cowfish would of more than likely host the carpet. Thanks for the comment.

  • Hey Newyorksteelo, i just got an anemone with a clowfish that was already hosting it. So i got it home, and acclimated it, but now it is just floating in my tank attached to nothing, how to i make it sink?

  • @John8785 You can either place the anemone down with your hand for a few minutes against a rock to get it to attach itself or wedge it between 2 rocks and it will definitely attach itself. Be sure not to let the anemone get stuck in the power head or disaster will happen. Good luck.

  • @newyorksteelo alright, it worked. Thanks a lot.

  • thanks bro

  • @IERKRUGER Do keep in mind that using a pump to bother it is what you want to achieve but not necessarily to blast it to the point that it causes damage. You have to bother it with a pump that is not to strong or it will rip the anemones foot. It can take all day of bothering the anemone for it to pry off the rock. You have to be patient and stay close to the tank. Once it starts to move you can pry it off the rock gently.

  • The anemone will move up for the to the light anyway, my never move and my two clownfish love it .

  • @casino007007 Have you seen my other videos? This anemone was previously on the top area of the tank and moved down there. I was not concerned with it not getting light. I know it will come out for light. I was concerned that it was getting near my corals. This is a quick way to get an anemone to either move or get it off the rock without hurting it.

  • Good to know!

  • @ryjack26 Pesky and stubbern little buggers.
