Just doesn't seem as 'scary' as the (admittedly basic) 1988 original. I had that on the PC Engine and played in the dark with the sound up was frightening (to a 12 year old!). This just seems to lack the doom ridden atmosphere of the original game. There's still time to turn it round but I can't see it

Fine, I'll get the damn PS3. But I'm getting the absolute shittiest one there is from a guy in a trenchcoat via shady business dealings. Maybe then I can get one for a reasonable price.

arf.... this look really bad... They need to polish and add a lot of little details that the game does not seem to have been done in haste... and again, all seem to be plastified... anyway I know that it's not the final result but... I realy realy hope that the game will not suck and by that I mean that I want to find at least a little bit of the real splatterhouse spirit : 'cause if I just went a gore game I could buy any other
